Just curious if anyone has some real news on how CP is gelling with his new team? I can't help but think they've got to be at least "satisfied" with his results so far but more curious on how he's getting along with the personel. I for 1 would love to see him back indoors in 2016....

Has it been said yet if this deal means he's doing SX next year? That's what I'm really looking forward to, dude is such a natural indoors. A full outdoor season on the bike and a full off season of testing, he's an instant contender next year

Did you see the Rockstar woman in their pits at GH? OMG I walked in there to return a yellow towel than Pourcel's mechanic had dropped and was rewarded with a fifteen minute conversation about everything except moto. Brittany is a veterinarian who also does marketing for Rockstar. Beautiful, smart and articulate is a pretty sexy combo in my book.

I asked him how things were going after Glen Helen. He just said he is feeling better on the bike, he feels comfortable with how they're improving the bike and how he was improving himself. Sounds good so far.

Hard to say. Yea the talent is there but it's been years since he raced indoors.

At the moment it is outdoors only because Pourcel has a bit of a reputation about him and "gelling" with teams. However they have a spot free for him for 2016 (in and outdoors). So if both parties are satisfied, it's a done deal. The goal was top 5 but Pourcel realizes he needs to find some rhythm, speed and consistency so he will be trying to aim for top 5 at the second part of the season.

That is true and next year there will be the usual suspects "KR, ET, RD, JS7". Tons of talent; and more experience for KR and ET which bite them hard this year.

I am a big fan, but if CP was lining up indoor, to be realistic as a "rookie", again (as I said for the Nationals) I think it would be a huge accomplishment to be in the top 5 - top 8 regularly, and finish the season healthy (which he usually does). The second/third group is loaded: Canard, Barcia, Bagget, Anderson, Tickle, Musquin, Wilson, Seely, Peick, Reed, Grant, Milsaps, Short, Hahn, etc, all riders who have regional/national titles or wins/podium in 450. Even to crack the top 20 is an accomplishment so to set high objectives like top 5 top 8 sounds already like a factory rider !

Equipment, quali (talent) & starts will be key so I have got hopes for him !

In all cases he sounds very happy from the french interview he gave, I am sure he knows it is the right opportunity to shine.

9th in points is not bad. He was winning GP motos a few years ago, so 9th in points in the AMA Nationals is about where he should be. I think his team is expecting more, and we'll see him on the box later in the series.

seems to be comfortable running around 6th-10th most of the time so far. Not bad to say how long he's had away from professional racing and so little time on the new bike / team.

Still think he's a top 5 guy when everything is 100% - might take a few more rounds, but I think we will see pourcel on the podium in the later stages of the season. Regarding supercross - certainly wouldn't bet against him indoors! he's a natural.

excited to see how he does at Unadilla!!!!

Exactly, he looks very confortable on the Husky. He has his "usual smooth style" so I can only see him building well from here.

By the way, is there any pics of him in the first moto ? I think he avoided to get taken out by Peick's bike when he went OTB and he had to rejoin the track later (he was in the top 10 then went mid pack). I was trying to show the video but where is it ? I started to rewatch the first moto and they did not show it in the "full race" ? I can't find anymore Peick's OTB either... And the moto 2: "the content is currently not available"... GRRRRRRRRRRRRR
