I searched around a bit after posting. it was that or do work, so...

I think they're being sarcastic because it's been said before, but honestly, it hasn't been said much. I found one article with it from 2012, I think. Most people say ET or extraterrestrial, but ET is just initials--boring--and extraterrestrial is too many syllables. Plus, Tomac didn't have Alien speed in the past--not like he has this year. Minus that crash in the 2nd moto, I haven't seen somebody dominate so hard at the start of a season since RC went undefeated.
