His first weekend back! That's very remarkable. Faster than dungey in open practice!

I thought Savatgy was fastest qualifier, It shows Craig 7th fastest qualifier.

That was session 2. Craig topped the first session which was quite a bit quicker due to the track being rougher by the second practice so he won the fast qualifier award for the day.

The fastest combined time between the two sessions determines who is the fastest qualifier. Between the two sessions Craig had the fastest time of everyone and won the "Bud Light fast qualifier award" and the #1 pick on the gate for the motos.

He was 7th in the second session but the first was fastest for eveyone.

I guess he realized that working regular jobs like us working stiffs wasn't too fun. That's a good motivator...lol

4-6 for 5th?? Are you kidding me!

I don't care who his father in law is. He proved he is deserving. He looked insanely fast and smooth. Time off and reality of the real world can surely change a professionals outlook.

It's not a fluke, he's always had the talent. Injuries can mess with the mind. He is in a good place, his mind is right and his talent will surface. A couple better starts and he would have podiumed. He came from behind. Both Motos.

Good ride dude. Pumped for him.

Oh yeah, he definitely has the talent not just the connections. He retired the first time due to the injuries that kept recurring and setting him further back every time. The extended time off finally let him heal up and be in position to do what he did today, plus like you mentioned a taste of 9-5 can give an athlete that extra motivation.
