Well , clearly those are not Union shops. "Nope, not my fuckin job." As unsafe as those acts are, I admire their sense of creativity and "Can do" attitude.

One of the best parts of being in a union shop is the enforcement of safety ,things can go bad quickly .

Tony, no I'm not, some dry humour there. That's not my bike, although I do have a 500AF. That one is dogger315's, and it IS a masterpiece. No Fanelli shit workmanship there.

I'd agree to a certain extent Mr X, but why does it take a union shop to have the rules followed? Fuck, if you value your safety and life, common sense should rule. Sadly, common sense isn't that common anymore.

You don't need a union, you need to hire smarter people.
Without OSHA those people would kill themselves and help the overall gene pool.

The other issue is the things some companies would make you do to save money.

I've worked in smaller shops where safety is over looked in the name of getting the job done faster.

That's my overarching problem with government involvement in "safety" things. They're more concerned about the technicality of the rules than they are actually making things safer.

I agree that we should let dumbasses be dumbasses and change the liability rules. If you're doing something stupid, your employer isn't liable.
