hahaha Fuck you! I kept clicking on it and it kept bringing me back to where I was at. Went in circles for over a minute. Didn't know WTF was going on, thought my internets was broken. Well played, sir. Laughing Guess I need to pay attention to what thread I'm in from now on.
Haha. Good to hear my humor didn't get wasted.

He wont run with the top 3 consistently, I see Dungey, Roczen and Tomac being a notch above the field.

I honestly see him having as fast a lap as anyone ( and I'm a dungey guy) , the problem arises when it's 100 degrees out and you need to have that speed almost the whole time. Very few in the past 10-15 years can do that on a big bike.
yes I think he can put in that lap at times as he did in the 250 class but than fitness , heat and such come into play.

I honestly do not know what to expect from Pourcel. I do not think he will not be on the level of Dungey/Tomac/Roczen but could be the best of the rest if things go well for him.

For a guy who will not ride hard unless he is totally comfortable with his bike settings I think the short amount of prep time on the Husky will hurt him early in the season.

And last season was fairly cool so if this summer gets back into a heatwave it could be trouble.

Put me in the group that won't be surprised of any outcome with pourcel. I won't be surprised if he comes out and runs at the front, just as I won't be surprised if he DNF's multiple motos and has issues with the bike. I have no idea what to expect from him.

His recent history has shown us that he's fast for the 1st half of each motos but fades a lot in the 2nd half. Unless he has overcome his health issue preventing him of going full gas for the entire moto, I just don't see him being on the podium.

Way to commit..lol..I'm actually in the same boat. Anyone that doesn't think he can win some motos is a fool. The wild card in the whole thing, is if he's past his health issues from previous years which held him back in the heat. We shall find out..

I'm thinking between a 4th and 7th place guy. I hope I'm wrong, it would be awesome to see him get some wins and stay up front with RD, Tomac and Kenny, hoping the same for Baggett.

Yup. Aaron Hansel at Racer X had a really good point in the 10 things to Watch article on their site:

"Will he win? Podium? Finish sixteenth? Pull off the track five laps into the race? The only thing that’s certain is that none of the above would be surprising." – Hansel

Pourcel is the modern day Dogger (minus the drugs and partying). If he shows up in the right state of mind, he's capable of beating almost anyone on the planet. Unfortunately, there's no way to tell which way it'll go until he lines up for the race.

Pourcel can be as happy as he wants. He doesn't have that intensity and warrior mentality needed to do damage in the 450 class.

Pourcel didn't ride a 450 last year and wasn't even fit
Correct me if I'm wrong

He did beat him to 80% of fastest laptimes though...

I always enjoy watching him race. He seems to find the smoothest and fastest lines. Good luck Frenchie.

I think CP is going to surprise some people this year on how well he does. It may take him a few rounds to get acclimated to racing the 450's here in the USA , but I just have a feeling he will be up towards the front more than what some people are expecting.

I'm just happy to see him finally racing a 450. He's been on the 250 for a LONG time.

I just hope he lands the deal for next year in SX. Where he could REALLY do some damage, and could be a podium contender. As for the outdoors, i'm with machine and hvaughn88. Anything can happen, but he got a really late start.
