in 2010? I've heard the rumors of him going stateside this year but I call BS. KTM would never let their MX2 world champion leave for the US without having him have a go at the MX1 Champ. Just like Townley. Plus they can't let Searle and Rattray leave. And finally PC has four riders already this year!

Yes Larry he sounds like an idiot. "theyouthahead", Townley has been the closest person to winning an mx title from Villopoto. He didnt do that by playing playstation all day long did he. And are you forgetting the sx title he won in '07? that was less than 2 years ago.

I think he would be an instant title contender outdoors, but jumping into SX right now is very risky.

I also would have thought he would have had an iron-clad contract with KTM for at least 2009, sounds like that may not be the case at all though.

He shouldn't rush things, IMO.

He will have a better chance at the MX2 title in the US than the World title in MX1... and its only 12 days racing all year as opposed to 17 full weekends plus internationasls races .... less races for maybe more money? plus he has alway wanted to race in the US like BT after he won a World Title - the tracks will suit him too... TYla was always good on loamy rough tracks. It will be a GP championship from 07 ... only without the World champ from that year - it will be great racing cant wait!! Big blow to KTM though and I'm surprised that Tyla is even allowed to do this if he has signed with KTM already.

Maybe Hamblin can get a factory MX1 ride? or maybe... Rattary will be swapped for Pourcel? seems odd Mitch wants 5 riders on his team?

I think if he is to move to the US it is now or maybe next year but you can't get serious about SX if you start too late. And we know that currently SX is what pays in the US. If he is which which I'm still very surprise the MX2 outdoors will be awesome
