Muhaaaaaaa!!!

What did Mike Alessi do to prove he can beat RV?

Outdoor, it might be closer but indoor, RV is going to blow him away.

RV is in Alessi's head while BobbyM may have a fit over this, it's true. They are both fast and Alessi has the big bikes down, I hope this is his year but we will see.

There both good riders but MA has been hurt while RV has been lapping the field so I would have to say it wont be much contest for RV to finish 2nd behind Stewart.

OK... I'm a fan of both, but come on... how can anyone say RV will do this and that when we haven't even seen him ride the 450 yet? This $hit is too funny. Does anyone remember how bad MA was waxing everyone (besides JS) outdoors? He obviously is fast... yeah, RV owned him on the 250's, but I'll wait to see his speed on the 450 before I go making predictions. Carry on

My bet is on RV just for the fact the MA's had two serious wrecks since he last raced. I'm sure those will slow him down a bit for quite some time.

RV is super fast as we know, my bet is still on alessi for 450's. we'll see what happens but to laugh at alessi like steve47 is pretty cheesy, they are both among the best in the world. that is something to respect no matter who is the fastest between the 2

MA stills has Dani, all RV has is his dead animals. Go Alessi.

just wow.

After seeing MA's speed in the 08 Nat's, I'd give the edge to him. Indoors RV I don't think he'll be close to RV, but for the real racing, I think #2 will finish behind #800 more often than not.

SX, would have to say RV. Alessi hasn't adapted too well to SX.

MX it should be a knock down drag out battle to the end. Alessi is an animal outdoors, as is RV. Should be one of the best SX and MX seasons in a long time if everyone can manage to stay healthy!

Neither will touch JS outdoors if he rides outdoors as far as speed goes. Bad race/moto, anything can happen.

If it's MA v. RV next year expect one of the best seasons in a long time as far as battles and competition. MA proved last year that he is/was for real on the 450 outdoors.

I look forward to seeing them battle. Cross my fingers both are healthy throughout SX...plus BT and the rest of the pack.

Learning year for RV. MA has the experience and a little extra that he gained trying to hang with Stewart. If MA stays healthy, could be lights out for the rest of the field. Hang'n it out in the lites class and hang'n it out on the big thumpers is two diferent game plans entirely. JMO.

Stewart went SX only , RV and bubba would go it outdoors RV was usually right on his lap times outdoors when he was on a 250f

Anyone who does not think that Alessi will be a threat is not paying attention. He was clearly faster than every other rider last year other than James on the outdoor circuit and he appears to be better suited to the big bikes. RV is fast and he will be a top contender as well, but to dismiss Alessi is absurd.

Just ask James about lap times. He had the same lap times or close to Ricky. He'll tell you it's a different ball game on the big bikes.
But RV is very talented and I'm sure he will be fast.
