As many of you know, the brakes on the 2000s RMs weren't top of the line stoppers. My 03 is no exception and is unacceptable to me so I bought a 2004 line to update it...
....however, my 03 KTM125 had a viscious front brake that required nearly no thought or pressure to stop all forward motion.
So I wondered if the KTM Brembo parts can be fitted to the RM? Has anyone used this set up?

The only way I think you could do this would be to have a custom fork lug made that has the proper mounting ears for the Brembo. Probably way to much $$$$ for what it's worth.
You should put an oversize rotor on the front, SS braided lines front and back, rebuild both master cylinders and then install a set of very high-bite MX/SX pads. You would be surprised how much better you can make the stock components with these upgrades.
BTW, do they still cruise up there? I grew up in Aledo and we used to go to G'burg on Saturday nights. There used to be a pro street Monza, a pro street Impalla and a legal Funnycar roaming around back then.
Thanks for the tips.

I would try a different master cylinder or oversized front rotor.
I may have to find an EBay Brembo master.
So I got it bled and broke in and took it to Durhamtown Friday. The track was mostly dry and hardpacked so traction wasn't abundant but it will put you on your ass without effort. The lever isn't firm like the Brembo system but it is quite strong.
I took it to one of the vacant camp spots and got a little speed up and grabbed a handful...it will stop!!
Thanks for the tips guys.
