It isn't difficult to install hidden battery cut off switch. Even better but little more work us fuel pump cut off switch.

There seems to be an outbreak of stolen vans in murrieta . My Ford cargo van was stolen at 10:05 Thursday night March 19th . in front of the Husqavarna building . Here is the van that came to steal my van.

The bicycle crowd have developed GPS tracking devices that can be discretely mounted so that thieves are not aware of them. If I remember right, they cost about $200-$300. Maybe someone in the industry can do the same for moto or adapt the bicycle ones to work. They do three things, first you get your bike back, second the thieves get busted, and third it deters would be thieves from doing it in the future.

Just a general comment not related to this incident, but it is inconceivable anyone would spend the money they do on bikes and gear and not have insurance..

Guys need to stop advertising their vans Unless the sponsor is making the contributions worth while to soak up the cost of theft. You can't beat thieves and baiting them in with decaled vans and 20 inch black rims is bad for business if some major sponsor isn't picmong up your tab.

Even a small number plate decal is too much. Nobody is stealing the hjacks plumbing van. Then thieves might have things to do work with.

Hell sometimes I throw a ladder up there for a type of "no dirtbikes here" camouflage. I only use my van for riding and hauling shit for my house if needed. But keep it looking plain and undesirable. And unfortunately, we have to do this now because people just take what they want with no repercussions. Dirtbikes are still easy to steal and get rid of without prosecution, until we get on star they're gonna keep getting jacked. Protect your shit. And I hope Ben finds the stuff and its not too trashed.
No stickers or graphics for me. Trailer is the same way. Lay low and hope they don't notice.

Wait till you make a claim and they tell your bike was only worth 4300. And you're like....but...but....all the parts and.....and....

Just make sure all your after markets are covered. They don't wanna pay on bike theft.

Did Beni ever find any of his stuff ??

Sadly, nothing yet besides the van has been found. Here's some better pics of his bikes & the 2 shoei helmets that were stolen & one of two pair of alpinestar boots in a racing picture & I'm pretty sure the FLY gear he's wearing in the pics too because he literally lost everything!

Homeowners or rental insurance will cover the gear loss.

I'm not sure if you guys care about his updates and how things are going for this guy, since he had everything to his name ripped from him but we've been doing, almost weekly videos to share his story. This is way bigger than him and his stolen bikes. This is a tough sport and most would give up with what he's been through. He's out here working harder than ever! He only has 1 bike so he barely gets to practice because the bike is on the Strikt Slaton rig going between races. That also means he doesn't get to test bike set up and other things during the week that would help him during race day. Last week he finally got to practice 1 day (as seen in video). With Vegas being over a week away, hes hoping to get some practice and more set up done. Rocket Exhaust has been a huge help to Beni. If you need pipes or motor work, definitely hit this awesome company up! I'm just going to continue posting his updates in this thread because that also helps keeps his stolen bikes and everything else fresh in peoples minds. More people that keeps seeing it, the better in my eyes Smile I hope the people who stole his stuff get the worst karma ever!

PS. Sorry if my filming sucks, my quadriplegic hands can barely hold a camera but I did pretty good haha check it out! Thanks!

Of course they do. But I find that most thieves in my area are young and want something cool to play on or bartering power for drugs. They don't wanna actually steal things to do work with. Sellin a hot bike for $500 and a crack rock Is easier than selling a saw and some drills.

Hope beni has the new bike insured!
