Ryans team is a factory team scrambled by factory Japan to make it happend. They took personal from different roles within kawasaki europe and made a team of it.

Kawsaki japan decides wich team or people they want to give out their equipment to. Ryans team didnt exist last year, some of the personal was in other kawi teams.

Molson Kawasaki was UK based Kawasaki GP team owned by Mike Church , and run by his daughter Lisa(i think)... they ran Tommy Searle amongst others and were the official MX2 team in GP's for a while , but i think the economy tanking hit the earthmoving business, and they wernt getting enough support from outside to keep it viable...also Lisa married Josh Coppins , and they went back to NZ after he retired , so they decided to fold the team rather than carry on.. a shame , a good family team , and obviously Tom Church was a GP rider in his own right as well..

Thats the gist as i recall it , someone may add detail to that

Same with Villopoto if he would be from this country called Europe. We're talking about few top athletes in MX, this really has nothing to do where you're born in...

Changing the team is pretty minor excuse for anything. That happens, riders change teams, Villopoto is not the only one. Some perform the same way right after the change, some don't.

Huge props to Villopoto for giving GP's a go. Makes it a ton more interesting!

I think he would've wanted and probably expected to win the second moto having got into 3rd so early on, but I think Cairoli and Desalle really upped their pace and we're too fast in that second race. RV probably realised about half distance that he couldn't catch them so settled for 3rd

Which comes across that RV didn't win because the moto was to short? You need to realise Cairoli put on a clinic and gapped him gradually every lap! RV had plenty of time, clear track from the 2-3 lap and wasn't far behind Desalle or Cairoli at that moment, he had no apparent bike problems and ultimately the shortness of the moto wasn't the factor like you've suggested - he just didn't show or maybe have the speed in that moto.
