I just got rid of my YFZ450 quad and got a '06 CRF250. I already know about how to clean the air filter and change oil, but do you guys have any riding or maintainenace tips i should know about?

LOL guys, READ the manual and go with its recommendations on service. You might regrease both the bearings in the linkage and steering stem.

Change oil every third ride, and filter plus oil every sixth ride. Gear oil every sixth. New filter every ride. Probably overkill, but my old 05 is still running good, so can't be that bad advice.

My friends change oil less often...
