Can someone explain to me why it's so damn hard for some people to say his name properly? He's been here for years now, get it right. I know it's a petty gripe, but to hear journalists say it wrong, time after time...it's not that hard

He is a close relative of Mickey and Minnie, so you say it: Mouse Kin

Until they started saying " Moose-can "....I always pronounced it " Mus-Quinn ". I don't really know the proper way. I just keep it simple and call him Marv. Haha.

It's French, and I'm Theriot from south Louisinana. My whole family speaks French. It's Moose-can... Got it?

If you can't pronounce Musquin then you can't pronounce Husqvarna. Just pretend the "q" is a "k". To me it sounds like Moose skin

US MXer's have a way with French name pronunciations. My favorite used to be hearing Stanton and Kiedrowksi talk about their teammate "Gene Michael" Bayle. Laughing

I just say Marvin....he's the only one out there with that name so there's no confusion. That way I don't sound like a dummy trying to speak frenchie...lol.

The right pronounciation is the one from the video Müsk-1 (one in french), not Moose-can, end of the discussion...

Marvin was asked in an interview once (US) how to pronounce his name & the interviewer give two options of pronunciation for Musquin, & Marvin said he didn't mind which one was used. Is there anywhere MM introduces himself & the presenters take note to get his name correct.
