What would that accomplish? I mean, other than making you chub up? Laughing
Isn't that enough of a reason? Silly

True. But that's so he can demo a lap, and make the stadium echo, and make everyone go, "What did he say?" Wink

Long time lurker here so guess it's about time I contribute something. I was in industry seating for the chad Reed intro so not the best video ever but video and sound none the less. Oh and sorry about being vertical, never planned on it to leave my phone. http://youtu.be/Sq2_unM4YBw

He occasionally hits A jump, but it's far from a whole lap. The wheelie on the Start straight? That doesn't count. Smile
He hit the title this week and did bac nacs the past two weeks before but yes you are correct no full laps anymore. But at least he try's to do something when he can.

It'll be a sad day when Reed is gone...he's the only guy that stands up to the BS and adds flair to SX, which in my opinion has overstayed it's welcome. Bloated commercial show. After he leaves it'll be all the "yes' men....booooring... The MXGP's were awesome though...I'm ready for outdoors anyway.

You know what would be cool, having a top ten qualifying shoot out to kick of the rider introductions.

Take the top ten from timed qualifying in the SX class only.

Then introduce them from 10th down to 1st in qualifying order and the intro becomes the final qualifying session.

What better way to kick off the show than having the fastest ten riders all lay down 1 "HEATER LAP" in front of the crowd. And introducing the riders at the same time.
That's how they bring out the snocross racers at the nationals (at least last year). Start with the last to top qualifier and bring them out that way, and let them hit the "finish line" jump for the crowd.

I was wondering about the reaction of the stadium as a whole. If you were there, what was it like when the 2-stroke came out?
Was fucking cool.
You couldn't see him at first but the sound of the 2 stroke let almost everybody scream.
It was way louder than with any other presentation.

That's what MX is all about who needs 4 stokes if the job can be done with 2?
