It is only a qualifying race, 8th is okay. If RV can get 2 starts tomorrow I think he'll be on the podium, if he can't then the races are longer tomorrow and he should be able to make a bit more progress through. IF it is going to take him a few rounds to get into it, then the key for him has to be not to concede too many points

Team Merica is screwed. Just hand AC the title now. I'm not even going to watch. Dry

He's playing mind games with those jokers.

Tomorrow, as is typical in Qatar, there will be a major human rights violation.

Hearts round the world will be split.

I'm a bit surprised Rv didn't get one lap in the 1:51s but as I said earlier I don't believe this track favors RV at all, it's a track that with a clean air in front of you any of the top 10 can go fast. I still believe by the second moto tomorrow that RV will be there, and in the end will clinch before the last moto. I don't remember anyone seriously saying RV would win every race by 30 seconds. I obviously didn't see any of the race but if you believe AC will be bettering RV by 2 1/2 seconds a lap you're dreaming.

No excuses outside of bike issues. Ryan knew when the season started and could prepare however he saw fit. He choose not to race etc. Simple as that. Hopefully he pulls it together and shows what we believe he can do, but excuses from us US fans are nothing but bullshit and take credit away from other racers.

Herlings stated that he is around 65% and that he knows if he was 100% he would be one or two seconds faster...

Top 10 is just fine.
If he gets the starts tomorrow he'll run upfront.
At that track itll be really hard for him to get a great start with the 8th pick, 5th place start would be pretty darn good for him.

Which Americans? Like 6 guys in their moms' basement out of 320 million people in the country? Your generalizations are as ignorant as the idiots' that tried to generalize the GP series as having less capable riders. Both are stupid things to say.

And besides, even if an American rider wins the Championship, how does that somehow make us worse or better?

RV had a respectable result in his first qualifying race. I think he'll finish top 3 this season which would be a hell of a result. I hope he wins it of course cause I'm a fan, but I also happen to be a huge fan of the buck toothed Italian guy that won that qualifying race as well.

And the Dutch kid on the orange 250 could kick all of their asses on either side of the pond either way. Does that somehow make the Netherlands 'better' than other nations? Besides having outstanding whores, chocolate, and windmills, I don't think so.

Flex has a posting style as a very , very butthurt Stewart fan. He holds a grudge against RV because of how the past 5yrs went here in the states. There are a few others on here as well like him. So much pain in their butts.....that they will root for anyone and everyone to beat RV......yes , it's that simple.

Some people are amazing on here, first qualifying race of the season, probably the worse GP on the calendar, probably the worse track too, and yet people are judging RV's and others performances, crazy, Searle finished 16th, does that mean he'll finish 16th tomorrow and every other round?
