I agree 100% in a weird way he has been better for it

I don't think anyone is close yet. Obviously if Canard never took him out there would have never been a black flag and Chad clearly went on to win that race.

The confidence gained from the race win would have propelled him onto a winning streak that would still be going. Atlanta one would have been just another win instead of his first and he would be celebrating taking over the red plate this weekend instead of his win.

But dam it, things just did not turn out that way and he now sits 7th.

Glad that is the only flaw you see in my response, guessing that mean you agree that 99% of what I said is correct, just you are thinking Reed finishes second to Canard in that race which was enough to give him to go on the win streak. I think that 2nd place though would have stopped Reed from taking the points lead at Atlanta 1 and he would only be grabbing the red plate this weekend at AT2 Smile

P.s I do agree Canard did not intentionally take Reed out. He did clean him out but it was a racing incident and not something he would have been planning on doing.

P.s P.s I don't believe what I typed above would have actually happened. Smile

Its obvious Chad would not have claimed the Red Plate until Daytona not Atlanta Smile

Without the Black Flag incident Chad would have more points than he does now, assuming he did not DNF that race. But because of the AMA we will never know.

In his interview after Atlanta 1 he said he still wasn't happy about and still had lawyers on it.

If it gets that far I'm sure they will have some sort of calculation as.to where they think he would be.
