I believe that last one happened in Houston, right in front of us.

Didn't he also have a nasty injury right after turning pro? Thought he had something happened that slowed his progress

That was it. Man major props to him for sticking with it, sport is way too cruel too often.

I was curious about him too we were down there in the tunnel waiting to go out for KJSC when he came off on the backboard and into the ambulance. They didn't waste any time getting him out of there it seemed like.

We have known Sean and his family since racing with them in the old PJ1 arenacross series. Great family and I hated to see him go done in the heat. I am very glad to hear he is going to be alright. Such brutal sport with all of these kids pushing the level of riding. Watched 3 red flags this weekend and 3 backboards carrying riders off the track. Can't remember ever seeing that many in one day. I hope and pray for speedy recoveries for Hackley, Cunningham, and Morgan. I would like to give a special thanks to Asterisks medical crew for a great job taking their time to make sure these riders get the care they need.

Bummer on Sean, wishing him well.
Not to take away, but any news on Cunningham? That didn't look good either.

His dad told me on Friday that he is healing up fine. Said Jr thinks he spun on the table top on/off. Big bruise across his back from the landing.

I've been hoping he's alright.

Thanks for the update!

Sooo happy that he is going to make a full recovery! That crash was not pretty and I though maybe I had just watch a guy that I am a big fan of have a career ender or worse. It happened right in front of our section and this is what I saw:

Hackley went down right in front of our section . I did not see how it started but the bike cartwheeling caught my attention. He was doing the big line through that section, 3 then 3 onto the plateau, step off then double single. That step off was tough all night, lots of guys clipping the landing after stepping off. I'm guessing he clipping too hard and went over the front. Hackley ended up laying horizontal across the top of the landing of the double after the step off, that would be the second to last hump in the section, the taller one. He was obviously unconscious and a second or two after he came to rest another rider landed on his head. I had a view straight from the side but it looked like the brake side foot and footpeg it what hit hackley's helmet. It whipped his head back violently. Reminded me of the morning I watch Marco Simoncelli get hit on the head and pass away. Was super scary!!! The medics had him surrounded pretty good but I never saw hackley move at all. Once they had him on the mule I saw that they were communicating with him. At that point I knew he wasn't dead thank God! Still feared a bad neck and spine injury. Sooo glad to hear that he will make a full recovery!!!!
