Great story. Tell your son thank you for his service and to stay safe over there so he can come home and ride some more.

I totally understand your feeling of pride. I have two grown sons that ride/race (we did it a lot when they were younger). Plus I was trying to race this year as well. Between working and marriages its a rare thing that I get to see everyone on the track at the same time. It happened only once this entire year but that one day that I got to race and both my sons raced and my grandson was racing. Man to have all 4 of us taking gate drops on the same day was a serious moment of pride for me!!! Loved it!

It really doesn't get much better than this on message board. Tell your son his service is appreciated and you keep that chest puffed out dad....every reason to be proud.

Awesome story. Glad your son has found some "normalcy" after coming home.

Thank him for his service. And I agree, make that LL trip a reality.

"Decent" is a bit of an understatement...Ryan in his prime was really good. Wink Glad to hear that he was able to ride a little moto while back here in the states.

Thanks guys I am a proud dad for sure. He actually was just promoted to sergeant so he's doing well in the aspect of being a good soldier.

It looks like he made somewhat of an impact in the moto world and still has some fans!!

We had a lot of great times and made some great friends.

Dayum! Ryan is all grown up. Awesome story! Tell him Big Mark and Mark293 said hello. Also tell him I have a job waiting on him if he is interested in wearing a different kind of uniform (www.hpdcareer.com) when he returns from Korea.
