So excited for the GPs!

But i know one thing, after this year RV will know how it feels being a couple seconds slower a lap (in the sand) than a certain mx2 rider..
I see him joining the battle at Lommel and Assen and mayby more if everything turns out well....

Interesting that RV has beaten the "best rider in the world" every time he's raced the MXdN on a 450 and even smoked him on a 250. But, since those champs had the word "World" in the title they won, they were the best in the world. Even though they got beaten.

Sorry, I have a hard time even trying to communicate such a ridiculous thought process.
RV only raced the MXdN on a 450 once and Cairoli broke his wrist

You know what,
the Worldchampionship has to be held in Russia,it has the greatest surface and the most various terrains in the world.Right?
I don't understand why you responded with that? Not one time did I say that the GP's didn't have to ride on various terrains. All I said was the US has various terrains, too. Why do you feel the need to defend the GP's when I never said anything about them whatsoever?

My bad. If he loses, it will prove the rider he loses to is better than him. Not the complete series is better than a series he road two years ago.

It will prove that AC is better than RV at GP's. In the AMA's no chance look at how badly RV destroyed Desalle and Kevin in the nationals, they were not even close.

Every single one of the guys Grieby posted above have stated ......that there is NO harder series than the American nationals. That if you " Really " want to be considered the best.....you compete here. That has been said by multiple riders for decades of racing.....plain and simple. You can try and sugar coat it all you want to ( with the Nationals / world championship wording )......but that is a 100% fact.
Another fact is the result of the last 3 MXDN.What about the statement of your racers about the european tracks?

I agree.....we raced on a couple of very tough tracks in which we didn't know. And do you really want to compare MXoN's wins with me here? And even though we have lost the last few.......our consistency over those races have been excellent......I won't even bring up the past 30yrs. So I wouldn't try bringing that into the argument.
We had these discussions 100x on this board,i am frustrated.
Times are changing, euros stepped up their game.In my dreams i see Herlings,Roczen,Cairoli.... race the ama outdoors and kick some american asses. It will never happen. We are proud to have RV in europe.I am really excited to see him in person and wish him the best.Wink

Now you are making assumptions. To be fair Desalle and Strijbos came over in the middle of the season to race for them a different bike to what they usually ride. RV is in it all the way, I think that's different. I think Desalle and Strijbos would have done both worse and better motos if they raced a full season and got fully prepared for it. Strijbos is not going to bring the world on fire ever. But I honestly believe Desalle has a chance to make a big impact. But RVs main rivals will be Cairoli and Paulin.

They where there on a holiday ride, between the GP's.. You cant make any thing out of that.. Unless they had won, then you could make something out of it :-)
But seriusly, they where not even on their own bikes...

It was rounds 2 and 3 I believe and the last track they raced at was the first time for everyone, I will say there bikes were a lil different but still Factory. They were way way off the pace though. As far as RV's rivals it will be AC and RV show, AC has shown for awhile now that his 90% pace is good enough to win the series easily, Desalle and Paulin will only be rivals periodically as neither of those two are on AC's or RV's level. The records and the stats show that.

One thing is for sure... in a few weeks we will be getting a ' this site is experiencing a very high load , and is unavailable' message

2015 is going to be the season we still talk about in 2045.

Desalle outqualified RV at Tennessee by 2 seconds, and was only 0.1 slower at Thunder Valley. Hardly off the pace.

For 2 guys riding for fun in the middle of the season , that was pretty good... i think Stribos lead one race too.

The American supercross series has 'world championship' attached to it because it's the ultimate test in that discipline and the winner is quite rightly classed as the best in the world at SX. The MX World Championship is the ultimate test in the discipline and so the same applies. AMA nationals are just that, a national series.

I respect RV massively for coming to race the world championship, and if wins it, I'll quite happily say he's the best in the world

Brosephs if Ryan Villipotos appearance at the world championship generates serious loot then in years to come we might actually get to see a REAL world championship.

RV 2015 champ after a slow start.

Well than apparently we just don't get each other. The only thing I've stated was in response to the r4yn dude that was said something to the effect of "but the GPs ride on various surfaces" and all I said was that the US does have a variety of terrains. Can someone please tell me why what I said was a big deal? Apparently I must have one of those Aziz Ansari translators and whenever I say "the US has various terrains," it actually comes as "fuck the GP's and everyone that lives in Europe." I seriously do not understand how anything I said could be taken as anything except simply pointing out an obvious fact.

Wow this thread has gone off the deep end. If RV testing in Italy results in a +10 pager, I can only image what this place is gonna be like once Qatar kicks off. Can't wait
