Could you please direct me to this fountain of free wheels lol I, just like Metcalf try to make due with what I have, he's has been doing good too I think, the color of his rims don't mean a hoot to me.

Some of these responses are priceless (including one of the admin's).
Does it matter if wheel sets match? No. Does it make them faster? No. Then why the hell should anyone comment?

Well, here is my theory. These teams and riders compete for a limited pool of sponsorship dollars. What, exactly, does a sponsor 'get' as ROI? Ideally, it drives business to their door and/or it helps with brand building/awareness.

Some of you guys have implied that anyone asking the question about 'bike presentation' is a pussy who doesn't appreciate what is really important----winning. Do you carry that same attitude to your job as (by example) a plumber? Do you keep your work truck clean? Do you have your company name and phone number on the door? Do you wear a work shirt as opposed to a t-shirt when you bid jobs?

And, as for the abundant fountain of free parts comment by one admin-----really, man? Why the hell do you spend all that time taking detailed photos of bikes/graphics/transporters-----hell, even stickered-up neck braces? Why? Why do you feed us all of these great visuals of the sport if it really doesn't matter and should never be commented on?

Metty is fast. He is putting out good results. He deserves good equipment. When it it obvious that the mis-matched wheels were not a one-race 'situation'----then some folks inquired. I would think one of the wheel manufacturers (here's looking at your Dubya) would see the need and fill the gap. It could be a win-win for both parties.

But, nah, let's just shut down the conversation and start another thread on Reed/Canard-----or Hansen. God forbid anyone should notice the details and inquire.

Seems like this season is a fashion show.. Mix-matched wheels, black dots on Emig's upper lip, riders gear, RC's weight, revealing clothing. Thought this was a man's sport, since when is it all about matching and eye appeal?

It's been explained many times that if your original account gets clicked, you don't just go sign up a new one. It needs to be resolved on the original one.

If you sign up five? There's an issue. Sign up more than that? You're getting clipped no matter what. Sign up 30? You've got issues. Smile
