I'm pretty sure I heard a 125 on the line last night for the 250 LCQ. Anyone know who it was?

Maybe Fox Sports wants to appeal to the old school demographic and are dubbing in a 2-stroke soundtrack. Kinda like when the cars on Dukes of Hazzard squealed the tires on dirt roads!!

ye, or like ''the x life'' on youtube, the opening credits show twitch (on his 450) taking off a jump, to what sounds like a 1993 honda c 90

If you follow the sport whatsoever, then you know what I'm talking about. I don't feel like I have to explain what lites are. I mean this is a 250 class thread right?

You could have just said, man It was stupid when they called it lites. If you follow the sport at all you would know we all hated the name lites, and have now decided to erase that from the sports past.
We were just being silly, don't have to be mean :-(

Should have a box stock 125 class, have all the qualifying done in the day time and just run a 12 lap final at night before the lcq races. Box stock meaning just valve shims and springs done, no coating. Engine with stock pistons, stock reeds and carb. Would be nice to hear the 125 sound in a stadium again as opposed to those dorky sounding 4 strokes.

The sound would be awesome but can we go 250 2 strokes instead? I still want to see a triple every so often. It'll get boring when the whole track goes 2-2-2-2-2-2-1-1-2-2-2-2-2-1-1-drop in the whoops and repeat.

If you heard a two-stroke in the building, it was a KJSC bike.

That's crazy talk,, Suprminis were clearing triples and more at MEC, what makes you think a 125 could'nt?

I would start going to supercrosses again to hear a gate full of 125's

I was half kidding about them not being able to clear anything. My point was just to say that today's tracks are built for four strokes. I don't think it's fair to compare the monster energy cup track which is more wide open to a real Supercross track either. That being said, I would definitely not pick that spot in the program to go refill my beer. Is love to see it.

Maybe that's it. But if no one else heard it, then maybe the classy fellow from Colorado was right and I was having auditory hallucinations.

To this day the commercials for Supercross on TV and the radio still have 2stroke sounds dubbed over them haha.
