to me JH100 looked a little tight all day. His speed is close to the top of the pack and When he loosens up and flows better his speed will increase.

I thought Hanny looked pretty good. The guy had some issues in practice so he only got to ride the first one. He came out strong in his heat race and did well in the main. Josh did a nice job wiping off the gate drop rust and I expect more good things to come.

I think he showed his potential. Leading his first heat was a great confidence booster. Once he relaxes and rides his own race I see him in the top 3 of a main for sure!

Hanny was probably really nervous last night due to a plethora of reasons. He's been a way a while and came in to this year in a manner he never had before, which is fully prepared. I mean that from a physical stand point. I'm sure fitness wise, he is better than he ever has been before. I think he will be fine going forward.

his bike setup didn't look good from what I saw guys were killing him in the whoops really bad. I hope he steps up and knocks some guy off the track too . seems like everyone was pushing him around a lot. its time for him to get back to the old aggressive riding style he once had. he still has all the tools he need to be up front

definately was very noticable, his knee bend over the upramp of jumps was unreal compared to nearly all other 250 riders

I remember a lot of the younger guys doing it a few years ago, unless we're talking about something different.

All things considered, he did pretty damn good first race out this season. He did seem like he spends just a fraction more time hanging in the air than the rest of the guys though. He pops just a little higher. Looked like he was flowing vs getting down lower and being fast over stuff.

If I recall correctly, Hansen has been doing this for sometime now. I definitely remember him doing it at Straight Rhythm.

Ya all in all I thought he did pretty well considering the circumstances. I don't think he or anyone else really expected him to come out and win right away or run away with the title. He spent some time up front in the heat, and got a solid finish in the main. You could tell once Hill passed him in the heat it got in his head a little bit but I think that's just first race nerves. As the season goes on and his fitness get's better and he get's used to being in a race setting again I think we'll start to see the Hanny from the beginning of 2011.

Looked like he rode real tight to me. Once he gets his flow back and can race the track he should be a threat.

He looked extremely tight and his speed was right there with the podium contenders. As long as he continues to look forward, I wouldn't be surprised for him to be in title contention come Vegas, or at the very least capture one or two wins.
