rolled out to glen helen this morning to check out the "new layout" and cause the R..E.M. race was on the main track so i thought it would be good practice..turns out the track is basically the same ..just backwards..yeah the talledega goes left

steven bauer held off the pack in the first moto of the compeitive 250 novice class

the pro class start ...dean wilson was on a mission (#128 kawi)..untouched in the pro class all day...look out for this kid. david pingree ,justin keeney, weston viek out front. they kept saying.something about $1500.oo cash to the winner,so dean has good reason to smile.

this is all the pro class saw of dean and not for long cause he was pulling away..oh yeah he had no front brakes moto two cause his pads fell out..he still won convincingly

Nice photos!

I went 6-6 for 5th o/a in the Vet Int. class. Had a few mistakes that cost me a better finish in both motos. Not too bad though. No surprise the Tedder clan was fast at GH, they practically live there. Track was fun backwards, but I could have done without the off camber corner at the bottom of Shoei hill.

Here is my GoPro helmet cam footage from my 2nd moto.

They threw us a curve ball in the first 50 Int moto. Originally they announced we were to start on the 1st gate with the 50 Ex. Later they changed it so 50 Int was 2nd gate. The only problem was most of us 50 Int's weren't in the know (me included)! So the 1st moto scoring was a cluster "F".

Gated good the 2nd race & was running 2nd for most the moto. Then started to fade for 3rd. Maybe training like Joel Robert isn't working for me! LOL

Next weeks Nats are going to fun on this track!

It was good to meet Slow-Pro - even though he wanted to protest & tear down my XR70 pit bike (inside joke)!

Friday - I was gonna say hello to you in the morning but your bike wasn't starting and I thought I'd let you keep working to light her up.

Always great to see Doc & Papa Doc at the races. Have fun at Ocotillo Wells next week!

i was curious for how the talledega turn could possible go backwards, but i guess this pic right here solves my question.

i think i like it like that more, but the talledega turn is soooo famous that they should keep it forever... especially for the national, its always fun to rail that thing pinned

Me too...Been awhile since I rode a 450, damn, it worked me. Got the usual holeshot, and led for about half a lap.

Got passed by three, and finished forth 50 expert. I have been sick all day, some kind of a flu bug, or something. Felt fine during the race, but once I stepped off at my trailer, I about died.

I was lucky though, my girlfriend was there to quickly grab a beer, and hand it to me !

Still, I claim, I am no Motocross racer, I will have my ass haned to me next week.
I likes the high speed chit !

Not really, I just whined like a baby, however, my 48 year old woman, Holeshot. and won the 40 novice class besting all the men !

Sorry, no photos yet, they will be posted at: fullthrottlephoto.org in a couple days

Does she have a fairly loud YZF250 ?

I raced with her then, 45 min trail ride, more so than a race, good fun.

No...she has a 2005 KX250F, it's got trick engine.

Red back grounds, #111

I remember you, she was about 3/4 of a lap ahead of you.

I kid....I was on the track too. Check results in a week, unless you win, who knows where we finish at SRA until we see the results.

Slo-Pro...I saw you as I was pulling in yesterday morning changing a tire on one of your bikes. I didn't realize that is your trailer. I'll be sure to stop and say hi next time I am there.

Yep, stays there pretty much year round. I put the plumbing in the ground, then help with repairs when I am present. Lori, takes care of me...

Yea, I pulled the 07 CRF450 out of storage, and it needed some TLC. It was last used for SX, man, the suspension sucks. My spnsor says I should just ride faster. HA F-N HA !

I am going get worked next week...my only chance is to get Chuck Sun, stinking, drunk Friday night, which I have dome in the past.

I had to mount tires, didn't have time at home, had to take care of the ole' ladies bike first.

Besides, I'd rather be there, than at home.

Well, I came by and hung out with him for awhile...Had I known who to look for I would have said HEY !

He did real well for the first time on that bike. I've heard good things about the 09 KTMs.
