They don't argue every point in public...they read what is printed in private...they watch the news they choose...they make their own decisions.

The pollsters might be asking the wrong people.

Uh huh.

When you don't hear a peep, the good noise is hiding.

Sounds like Nixon's "Silent Majority" that loved the war in Vietnam.

Maybe they were silent because it was wrong and embarrassing!

What? That is pure comedy. I don't support either of the two, but there is clearly a more vocal support for Obama.

I don't know why people who don't like to get involved in politics get upset at those who do. I don't like eggs so I just don't eat them.

Right, that's why this forum is loaded with negative and slanderous attacks on the Obama campaign

There are a lot more people out there who will vote against Obama because of all of the bullshit lies they have heard about him. They believe them as gospel and nothing anyone says will change their opinion.

By the way, it is also interesting how "truth" has been transformed into "excuses"

I dunno, as a completely independant observer, I'd say it runs about 50/50. There are seriously vicious attacks coming from everybody, which reveals a deeply fractured and divided country.

While I'm busy sticking my nose in other peoples business, I'd also like to say that it's ridiculous to be arguing politics on a motocross forum, you are all dead set in your views and no one is going to change anyones perspective on here, in fact the more you idiots argue about it, the more firmly entrenched you all get in your own opinions, regardless if the other side had a good point or not.

It'd be nice to not have to step away from this place every four years to avoid getting crushing headaches from reading the same bullshit over and over again.

Flame on.

All the bantering bullshit on both sides isn’t going to change anything. We will all find out on Tuesday, then all of those from the losing side can start their bitching and moaning all over again.

Dave,

In all honestly, most of those attacks came in the primaries and were concocted by other Democrats.

I'm still undecided, but as far as attacks go, I know I haven't received any anti-McCain emails. I posted previously about the crap my wife receives from her family (those chain emails). She also gets some from a neighbor. When I got home from work yesterday she was watching some anti-Obama video a neighbor sent and wanted me to see it (I didn't bother). I don't have a problem with anyone being anti-anyone, but I told her, "You do realize that every one of those you receive is either from your religious-fanatic family who won't vote for him cause 'he's a Muslim' or from our neighbors who won't vote for him because he's black." I told her to ask anyone sending her the emails to give her a brief synopsis of the political platform of EITHER candidate (and wait for their blank stares).
I didn't watch the debates, haven't followed much because I'm sick of most of the crap, but in the end I'll probably end up voting for whoever has the tax plan that favors me. And I am aware that even though that may benefit me in the short run with a bigger tax return, another candidate may end up with better long term economic results that may offer me more further down the road. But I'm probably a year or two away from going on disability (might jump from my current C5-6-7 fusion to a C3-4-5-6-7 fusion soon) so I'm only looking at who puts the most cash in my pocket in the short run.

It's been that way for weeks & gets worse more & more every day now that it looks like McCain has screwed the pooch. The righties are getting desperate & the hate & the bile are finally coming out. It's not rational, of course, but that's all that's left for them.

You really haven't been paying attention around here have you Joe? Either that or your own bias won't let you see what's in front of your face. The only truly desperate & needy posters around here are the McCain supporters who get more shrill by the minute. Take a look at yamaharider4life's post for a good look at what i'm talking about.
