Honda for sure.. Barcia and Wharton are going to AT LEAST get top 5 in the nationals this year. Barcia might even give Dungey a run for the championship.

I'm going out on limb on this one but I think Justin Barcia is a major contender for the 2009 Outdoor title right from the jump. Kid is unreal fast and he does things on the bike that just make your jaw drop.

Dean Wilson is really on the move...he made allot of waves this past season and is plenty capable of being a front runner in the pros one day as long as he continues progressing like he has

Blake Bagget seems right on pace with Wilson and some of the other top guys but he seems to be a bit of a wild card at times with crashes and inconsistency.

Eli Tomac is destined to be a champ one day as well. He has all the right people around him to guide him and help him make smart choices. Plus he is proven to be a consitent front runner at every big amateur national event the last few years

There is alot of hype surrounding Barcia, hope it doesn't get to him.

Barcia is the real thing.

Barcia is running in the A class and has been down to Florida doing all there gold cup races I believe. I think the plan is for him to move up to the Pro class and compete in 2009 outdoor series instead of racing the Amateur stuff another year. I have not seen any press release or anything with his definite plans yet so this may just be specualtion....we'll see

ya.. FC may have the chance to take over as the dominant lites factory for the next couple of years. But PC does have better supercross riders like Stroupe and now Morais. Soo.. we'll just have to see how it turns out.

Didn't we already have this conversation about Barcia, and didn't Calimero come on here and tell us that he and Metcalfe were easily faster than Barcia at the local tracks?

Honestly, I see Barcia making a lot of enemies in the pros. Just in the last two weeks he has had a run in with Matt Walker and then had some issues with Zack Freeberg at Gatorback.

I think Wilson will do really good in the pros, kid is extremely fast too.

Justin is wicked fast.
I can see him winning a national next year.
But I'm not expecting him to take the title.
If he does, I wouldn't be stunned but I would be very proud of him to make the accomplishment first season in.
I'd rather give him an outdoor season and even the SX series a lil bit just to get settled with the competition and comfortable with the whole scene.
But don't get me wrong, Justin will shred the gnar to the extreme guaranteed!

Justin definitely has the potential to be something if he keeps a level head and keeps working. The kid proved that he was super fast at lorettas this year. I dont think there's any dispute to that. Its just whether he has the drive to become something great instead of being the average pro who usually ranges from 5th to 10th. im anxious to see how he does. The kid is extremely talented. As far as Honda or Kawi, im gonna have to go with Honda. Barcia, Wharton, and Tomac is a tough trio to beat. Wharton has already proved that he can run with the pros. Dont get me wrong. Larsen, Baggett, and Wilson are all super fast, but i dont think as a team they can run with the Honda boys. Looks like we've got an exciting future ahead of us.

How old is he next year ..... 16 ?
Why not ride another year A class in amatuers ?
Then he has three years Pro in 250f's before moving to 450.

Wharton is pre-seasoned and ready to make an impact.
Tomac is under the radar, good for him.
Wilson, Larson and Bagget are mature and ready.

Should be a good outdoor season.
Of course, this is all speculation.

Barcia could go pro this year, but my guess he would finish around 10th or 11th per race. And thats on a good day.
