I just want to thank Jeffro and all that are keeping this tread alive and are not letting others try and change the topic by posting non related stuff to try and derail it... Thank You

Yes I do like to have fun with stuff like this at times. But to be honest, I find this topic funny in the grand scheme of the problems in the world. Also, nothing ever gets done about this crap. I'm just entertained by the fact that there is almost 20 pages about some inner-city kids doing wheelies on dirt bikes. I mean come on, it is kind of funny that this shit is even happening out there. but remember you turds, as much as I like to screw around here, I have forgotten more about motocross than 99% of you will ever know and don't forget it!!

Now they say Mr. Meeks new arrest possibly be a hoax. Wanted to pass that info along so I didn't come across like a "troll" in this topic.

I personally call hoax on the hoax the more I've looked into it.

I grew up in the wealthiest part of Canada. But I did have two DMC's, a CR 125, a mountain bike and all my tools stolen. But the way I see it, shit happens!

Got it, no inner city experience. ., and you say shit happens. Yep of course it does and certain things can be avoided , but the pos stealing is not a reason. shit happens. Maybe you should move to a inner city and deal with it daily.

So I just read in another thread the story about how this lil chino douchebag steals this bike....then posts videos of himself riding wheelies through town. No negative comments on his youtube videos , no arrest has been made and it seems he is still in possession of the stolen bike. I'm not even going to write on a public message board what I would do to this guy if I caught him.....I'll just say it wouldn't be good for him. What a piece of shit.

Then to top it off.....he has " sponsors"?? Monster Energy, GoPro, Ethika , ect.......Why?

The story >>> http://www.blacksheepmx.com/latest-bs/time-time-18-and-life-in-chino

The video ( or one of many anyways )

Have you tried taking this to local news or an investigative reporter? With the evidence that has been shown on here and the trail leading to Monster, there may be some interest.......

Actually......I have an email almost all typed up to send over to the Baltimore sun if anyone is interested. I was waiting on speaking to Detective Roney , but it sounds like she is not in there all that much. Mr Day had mentioned that he thinks she may of retired , but the officer I spoke to said that she was out to lunch....so I don't know what's up with that.

What I am thinking of doing is writing a story along with the videos , pictures and everything else and how Mr day has reached out to the police for help....and after 3yrs nothing has been done. IN FACT.....nothing has been done about the 10,000 + dirt bikes and street bikes that have been confiscated! !/2 of them have been crushed...why? Why are these bikes not getting back to their original owners? And why is it taking the police 3yrs to find a bike that is illegally running up and down the damn street?

Why is Monster supporting people that do these things
Why are they trying to " main stream " this bullshit to kids?
Why are 1000's of bikes being stolen and never recovered?
Why are the one that ARE recovered being destroyed?
Why do they let groups of 20 , 50 and 100 thugs shut down city blocks doing this shit?
Why are they NOT doing something about all of it?

I wanted to get in touch with Detective Roney to PUSH to help resolve this. Now.....when I finish writing this up it may look as though the police either aren't doing their job OR they are severely under powered. Either way.....there are way to many thugs that have over run Baltimore and other city's......and it just keeps happening!

WHY.....is anyone interested in bringing this stuff into our sport? Who thinks it's a great idea to expose kids ( or anyone for that matter ) to this stuff.

The " sponsorship thing........Jesus Christ! That's a whole other story right there! Chino......rides wheelies on pavement! That it....nothing else! ( not counting bike theft and breaking the law'.....were speaking skills ). And yet someone wants to give him free bikes , and other sponsorships? It's fucking ridiculous! There are guys making top 20 in nationals and making main events in SX that don't get the shit they have.

If I was a privateer....I'd be so pissed off right now!

These " one trick pony " hacks do NOT deserve any of this shit. Chino is a freakin' " Beginner rider "......that is the skill set he has.....that's it! He's getting help from people because he rides wheelies.

Question......what in the hell does Chino's skills have to do with MX or SX?

Where did you hear they crush half the bikes?! Can you imagine how much good could come from giving those bikes to kids who struggle to fund their riding (if they cannot be returned to their original owner of course)? To just destroy them like that is beyond a waste, it's just plain wrong. Hopefully if the news or paper gets involved some change will come about, as it is that is just not acceptable.

JM....I was reading an article just a couple nights ago about how their stock pile of bikes had gotten so bad that they were stacking them 4 - 5 bikes tall laying on their side. They had to crush around 5000 of those bikes to make room for more coming in. In just last year alone they confiscated over 1000 bikes.

I don't understand this. There are serial numbers o the bikes.....why couldn't they lig them and have some sort of a direct connection to the DMV to find out who owns the bike? It seems like they are just overwhelmed.

I would be surprised if the Baltimore police would talk to you for more than a few minutes if even that. You were not the victim of a crime in Baltimore and live on the west coast so I doubt they will give you the time of day. Now on the other hand the MX company's that sponsor chino that you are contacting is probably the best way to attack it. I guarantee the Baltimore police are well aware of the problems they have and the stolen mx bikes are just a small blip on the radar.

Good luck with that, Ash is almost as classy as that Chino characters, so they are in good company and deserve each other. I am just surprised you guys are just now boycotting all of that crap. I did years ago. I am sorry for Mr Day and his bike but there have been so many documented cases over the past 10 years or so no one should be shocked. I stopped going to the Baja Brawl because they actually invited those hood rats to their event. Anyone who invites gangsters, thieves, druggies, etc to be around my family is not a business I want to support.
I just did a Google search for "Baja brawl" and it came up:

Jeffro. Let me know how I can help if you send that letter and get a response. This is a Goddam travesty. People close to me have been affected by bike theft in this area. Dirt bikes being crushed and not returned? I live north of Baltimore, I'm a sharepoint engineer by trade and will gladly donate my time to setup a website cataloging the bikes in the impound lot. Post it online, get the word out via racerx, vital, news, etc. Let's get these bikes back to their rightful owners

If letters/emails are sent to the police/media/sponsors, try to ensure they have an objective, unbiased tone. Emotional pleas typically discredit the purpose of the campaign, as the vast majority of potential recipients do not share the same level of interest.

Lil Chino's sponsors understand the risk in associating with illegal activities. They also understand the value of "eyes on product", and thousands of eyes are on Meek Mill and Lil Chino. Both individuals have legions of followers, and a small percentage of the MX community is unlikely to change the sponsors' stance unless financial/legal risk can be proven.

When lawyers are on trial, they hire other lawyers to represent them. Why? They require an unbiased, objective approach to accomplish their goals. The recipients of these emails concerning bike theft and Lil Chino exist in a different reality, and the onus is on the email writer to work on their terms, not the other way around.

ILast note: please do not reference Vital or this post, as it's littered with attacks on the sponsors' client and law enforcement. Backing the recipients into a corner will only solidify their defensive posture.

When I had a couple of bikes stolen my homeowner's policy gave me full new replacement value for bike and all aftermarket parts. It was awesome. Not everyone that has a bike stolen wants it recovered.

Those are some great ideas you guys...thanks. I know none of this is going to get immediately resolved ( even though I think most would like to see it ) But I think it's worth the effort. I don't if I'll ever accomplish anything with it , but I also know it couldn't hurt to at least try.

I gotta head out of here for the entire day.....as I have a double funeral to attend too today. Lost two friends last weekend in a car crash. Probably won't be back on for a couple days.
