I have to make a Powerpoint and give a speech in school tomorrow on why motocross is the toughest/hardest sport in the world. Does anyone have any good input or articles I can use to help me create a good presentation? What facts should I include?

So I watched and halfway through the interview with TP they went to a clip of the P90 X guy.
He was asked who he thought were the fittest athletes and straight away without hesitation he said Motocross riders!!!
My bit of useless info for the day.
Theres a lot of information about the physical aspects of it in this episode, also a good watch you can check out the whole series but yeah check it out. It's supercross but its fairly similar, should be close enough for school work. At about 1:20 and 6 min they mention why its so hard.

If I were building this presentation, my main points would be 1)The athleticism required for sustained high heart rates, 2) Riding skill and reflexes/natural talent, 3) Inherent danger of the sport.
Throw in a couple short video clips of gnarly crashes as "attention getters" at the beginning to show them the stakes.
The video of RV's SX crash in 2011 sort of jumps out at me, along with X-rays, along with him returning to become champion again would do nicely to illustrate the "tough" part. And the same could be said for other serious injuries and recoveries for so many of our top guys (Canard, Millsaps, Reed, Pourcel, Herlings racing with a freaking broken leg and on and on).

Let us know how it turns out!
