Those Rhino Skins are so so sweet -- I saw the pic a few pages back with them on the 95 RM250 -- does anyone remember what the purpose was or if there are any floating around? I'd love them as a shop piece. My only guess is protection or additional room for sponsor logos?

Nailed it Wink Plus it was hoped that the side panels would be smoother and offer less edges for boots to catch on.

Problem was they were hard to grip and made engines run too hot....

Back in the day "Xtreme" had some pretty cool calendars/posters, some of which have already been posted in here, like this one:

Now I am sure that they also had a Yamaha version, using the NCY Xtreme team bike:



But with a hot chick on it...

Does anyone have a copy of that poster/ad that they could post in here please?

While we are at it, I don't suppose anyone has any ideas on how to go about aquiring or recreating a set of those graphics and seat cover?

WOW I have spent hours on this thread tonight....what a sensational topic!!

I had motorbikes right through the 90s, starting with a PW50 in 1990, so the mid-late 90s was a period where I was very much into MX/SX and idolised the guys on these pages.

Here's me kitted up in new gear December 1995, patiently awaiting my 1996 KX80:

The 1992 RM's would have to be the most 90's bikes ever! I was planning on finding a nice 1991 CR125 for a project but after seeing the 92 RM250 that MCfan4iife posted on page 10 I'm undecided again.

How are Suzuki's prices for original and NOS parts?

I found a 92 250 on craigslist not too long ago, I was never really a fan of them in 92 but after seeing it, I had to have it now it sits in my house, like you say it was definitely 90's to the max

Those were the Tuf racing arenacross bikes, I know that Jeff Willoh rode them one year, and Denny Stephenson another and maybe Jeremy Beuhl but I can't remember for sure. The bike there is from 2000 or 01, I dug the Tuf graphics too and got them for my '98 CR250, I think the graphics I bought in 98 were made by Pro's Choice, the bummer was that you couldn't buy the yellow fork guards like the Tuf bikes.

I had a 92 rm125 and I loved it !!!! Especially the wacky colors on it.... I know alot of people who hated them, but I wasn't 1 of them..
did just a little work on mine and it ran like a scolded dog!!!!!!

I remember seeing the Keid at Loretta Lynns in 88 riding Kawis and heard there that he'd signed with Honda for 89. Then he won the 125 national title that year....
