I did find his performance rather disappointing but he will find that extra speed he needs by A1 to be competitive.
..and you can't make it or break it if you've already made it. he's already reached the zenith.
..he finished second in both pro series in 2014. ...an improvement over 2013's 3rd in SX and the same finishing position in MX.

Dungey lacks in those areas IMO.
If you have ever watched someone trained by Baker you can see that dont wait to let things happen during a race, they are in attack mode from the get go. No following, no being nice or allowing things to come to them. They make passes and they make them happen quickly. Look at Kenny from last year to this year, huge difference.
The intensity and the battling they have their guys do is nothing like what Dungey will have done during his prep each year IMO
So the upside will either be great or you will see if Dungey has really peaked.

Oh, yeah...he's peaked.
Indoors I think he has a better shot. I think ET3 will be fast but he will need this next year to be next level speed indoors. Although, he seems to finally be settling in on that Honda but I think his starts keep him from being a title contender this year and maybe forever, indoors that is.
I like Dungey to be in the hunt indoors. No matter what happens to Dungey he has always been a class act and as a parent I bet his parents are very proud. He's done well!!
Granted, the bike is far beyond what it was before. Dungey and Roczen certainly showed it is a strong bike during the Nationals this year.
All that aside, I can't imagine that there wouldn't be some sort of RCH action in his future. Perhaps Roczen wins for RCH, gives them a little more exposure and capital from a larger title sponsor, then maybe they hire in Dungey along side of Roczen....or Roczen folds this year, gets too excited with all the changes and RCH clips him...like they do so many others..suddenly RCH needs a top tier guy to fill their spot for those big sponsors they already have.....I would have to think he is top pick.
