I wondered the same thing. I saw that on Digg today. Most of the men just said hello for the most part. Apparently, you aren't allowed to look at an attractive woman these days and say hi or else you're "harassing" her. But don't think for a minute that she didn't wear an extremely tight shirt to get the exact response she wanted in her video.
There were a couple of creepers on there, but for the most part I didn't see the point of the video. These new feminist bitches also penned a new term called "eye rape" which is when you look at a woman too long.
A lot of it seemed like it was just politeness, but why was she singled out? Some of it was harrassment that could have turned bad very quick. This was also just a short walk.
Short walk? According to the title those incidents took place over 10 hours of walking. I wonder how the filming was done, was the camera concealed somehow on the person walking in front of her? Or was it obvious someone was filming her?

She was walking for 10 hours.
Also, when you wear skin tight jeans and s really fitted top without anything over it what do you expect to get?
If women didn't get compliments and attention on a daily basis they wouldn't know what to do.
- if the guy is good looking and hits on me, he's being a gentleman and recognizing a good looking lady
- if the guy is ugly and hits on me, it's harassment
- if I'm feeling ugly today and some guy hits on me, he made my day
- if I'm feeling hot today and the good looking guy in the office doesn't notice or say anything, he's an asshole
- if I'm feeling hot today and some fat ugly dude stares at my low cut top for too long, its eye rape
- if I'm feeling hot today and the cute guy from work stares at my low cut top for a long time, it worked
Also
- I demand to make the same amount as the guy next to me, but the guy better pay the bill on the first date
- I demand to be able to do the same jobs as men, even physically exerting jobs, but I demand that the physical test be less stringent
- I demand to be treated exactly the same at work, and payed the same, but I also consider it discrimination if you don't give me paid maternity leave

My mistake on the distance she walked. I saw the video yesterday and fogot.
What does a woman wearing tight jeans and fitted top expect you ask? I would guess not to be harrassed. Grow up man. If it's unwanted, it's harrassment. Of course in this case, she wanted to be harrassed to prove a point.
The last time I made these kinds of comments to woman/girls was many years ago when I was in high school. I've grown up a little since then.
Guys who will make those remarks to a woman walking by are guys who will always be hanging out on the street while the rest of civilized society is working and being productive.

It's not harassment simply because it's unwanted, There are times I walk along trails and beaches, and I don't really want to talk to anyone, but people say hi and I say hi back. That's not harassment. Harassment is repeated unwanted behavior of some type.
So some of the guys (very few) could be considered to be harassing her. The one's that just asked her how she was doing or said hi are not harassing her and it will never will be no matter how much these feminists try and make it so.
That woman purposely wore tight fitting clothes in which she knew she would get attention from men on the streets so she could make a bullshit video for her feminist cause.

"Hi, how are you", "you look nice today"...............that's harassment??? Sure, she got some legit cat calls, but what she did was the equivalent of walking by a tiger cage with raw meat tied to your ass and boobs. It's also crazy that they included winks as harassment. Pretty soon you'll have to write a letter to a woman requesting to look at her.
If a woman walks through a neighborhood nude I guess men are expected to not look at her or say anything either? As tight as the clothes were that she was wearing she wasn't far from that.
Lastly if you think that she made that video to stop cat calls you've had the wool pulled over your eyes. She made the video to show that she could attract guys. It was pretty much all about her. That amazing thing is that she only averaged 10 per hour. She had to have walked by hundreds of men in an hour and only averaged 10 per hour...............
My mistake on the distance she walked. I saw the video yesterday and fogot.

Your definition isn't really accurate. It doesn't need to be repeated behavior, even though it most commonly is. For example if someone had said "Hey baby how about we go f*ck in the alley", that'd be harassing behavior the first time it was said.
There are definitely some incidents in the video that don't seem like harassment to me, but there are some that are just insulting and if someone were to make those comments to our wives or daughters we'd definitely see it as harassment and call them on their rude behavior.
Had a girlfriend when I was in my 20's and she worked downtown KC. She had to park 3 blocks away and walk to and from the office every day dressed in a business style outfit.. She would tell me stories of daily cat whistles and 'woo hoo baby' type comments. It was so bad, even with a male escort to her car, she finally quit that job.
Guys that make those comments will never end up with a quality girl, or probably any girl for that matter.

On the OP in the video.....harassment? I guess you can't say hello to strangers? Couple creepy guys for sure.....but 95% of them were just saying hello in the ways they knew how to. What the hell are you supposed to say to a pretty woman. Side note....I didn't think she was that pretty.
That's a shit load of harrassment, she made no eye contact, didn't smile or speak to anyone either, and she's not showing any cleavage or leg,how creepy are the guys walking with her? There's plenty of general "hellos" but if it ws my missus and people were like that I'd be pissed off
Mind you,in England you might get the of smile or people looking after she's gone by,not that many would even speak,we're not miserable, just too shy/polite

x2.
Would the same comment's/greetings would have been made if she'd been walking with a guy? If not, then that IS harrassment. Those of you here who are okay with that behaviour need to have a look at yourself. Would you be okay with all of that aimed at your other half if you were there? (or even if you wern't).
And to those of you who made the "she's virtually naked" remarks, you sound exacly like the self-justifying Mulsim child rapists we get. Have you got no self-control?????

Things are sure different here. People say "hi", "howdy", "Good morning", wave to each other while passing in cars, hold doors for each other, etc.
Y'all might not be miserable, but I sure would be.
That chick has serious issues. The likelihood of her landing and keeping a good man is about as good as the creeper guys in the vid landing anything with a pulse.
"10 Hours of walking in NYC as a Woman" What does she walk as the rest of the time?
Yeah, I often wonder what "part-time women" are the rest of the time!
As to the holding door's for each other, that's common practice here too. I, and my wife, had doors dropped in our faces much more frequently when we lived/worked in the U.S.

Double standards
Say hi to a female or play around with kids and you're a creep these days. The guys walking alongside and following her fall into the harassment category for me. The guys saying hi are doing nothing more then saying hi. People live like ghosts over here, say hi to a stranger here and you'll be looked at like a freak.

Yes it happens all too frequently these days. All I can vouch for is myself and my son, but still see it often here.
A strange thing happened to me last year though. I was holding the door for a lady at a convenience store and a couple of guys weren't far behind her so I continued to hold the door for them thinking nothing of it. Evidently they were a couple and one of the guys was pissed. He got in my face yelling at me asking me if I thought he was a woman. I tried to tell him I'd hold the door for anyone.
He was having none of it, and continued yapping at me like a Chihuahua. Well I finally had enough and turned to him and said "There's a 1000 acres out there, let's go plow it up"! His partner finally pulled him away from me.

Yep, I don't get it when people ( men OR women) get upset about it. It's just common courtesy and I expect the same of other people especially if I'm carrying stuff.
Good manners make the world turn that much smoother.
