Trey handled that better than I would have. I talked to him for a bit after the race and he said that if he'd won it, he wasn't planning on keeping the money.
I wouldn't have kept it either...it would have been spent as soon as the check cleared...naw I can't lie I am way to frugal for that. Trey is a good guy, this season of SX should be fun to watch.

Why do some people think Trey deserves to win? Why would anyone deserve to win?
Because he was the fastest and most consistent rider Saturday night. That's why some think he deserved to win. If not for that bale, I think his chances at passing Davi (and winning the 1 mil) were pretty high.

I don't think Trey had anything for Davi. In the 2nd moto when Davi got out front, he was pulling some distance on Trey pretty damn fast. I like Trey as much as the next guy and was pulling for him, but I think between Davi's speed and a shit-ton of pressure in that last moto, he made a couple of simple mistakes. In the end, I am sure he still had a blast there.
That being said, he had already taken the Joker lane and might have thought it'd be safer to stay consistent that last lap instead of chasing davi. I don't think davi would've won that one even if he hadn't tipped in the last corner. Would've been close though.

You're kidding me, right? He beat him in the first two motos and was right on Davi's rear tire when he went down in the third moto.

Davi did gap him a bit at the beginning there, but Trey was reeling him back in. I figured Trey would go for the Joker lane and then just pick Davi off when he went through.

Nobody significant is looking for a rider who can get top 10 but crash's to much.

The kid is talented but on the ground way to much.

Add in the baggage and it's a no go.

we must have been watching a different race then...

Trey should have taken the Joker Lane to get off Davi's rear fender, it was clear he was getting faster in that last moto.

i'm not saying Davi is slow by any means, but Trey had his number in all 3 races. it's too bad a couple brain-farts kept him from the 100k or the 1m.

I was talking about the 2nd moto, Davi was clearly faster once he got out front. Trey in that 3rd moto clearly wanted it bad and went down chasing Davi. That is all.

I wanted Trey to win, I just think when Davi had a clear track, he was faster.

, but kiddos to davi & canard & the rest of the field

So you want to give Davi, Trey and the rest of the field children?Blink

What if they don't want kids?

Yeah. I agree with Peely. I was hoping Trey was going to take the joker that lap and then be able to pass Davi when he took it.

I don't think there was any miscalculation at all. The toughblock was just invisible to Trey at the time. Davi blew up that corner when he went through it. Canard was trying to apex differently than Davi and didn't see the toughblock through Davi's roost until it was too late.

But to say that Canard didn't have Davi's pace is pretty inaccurate. Davi did pull a gap but Canard closed it back in and was pressuring Davi.

He should have offered 100k to everyone in the top 5 in points after 2 motos in exchange for an easy win.... win-win situation for everyone!
I would pull over for a lot less than 100K.
