he gets a well earned rest as champ and has time to concentrate on riding the new bike and settle into the new team ready for MEC.
Main reason is the immigration issue. It is related to his green card, leaving the US to this point of time would create a problem.
Additional of that, in case of racing the MXDN he would have keep focused his training until end of September, short after this date he had to start tests with his new team. Therefore a very short the relaxation time is remaining.
But however, without the immigration issue he would have raced for Germany.
