Does anyone know why Roczen isnt racing mxon?
Had a quick look at most of the mx sites and this forum and haven't really seen anything about it.

Various unscientific bench racing theories have been tossed around.

1. He's changing teams and he wouldn't be ready for the MXDN on the new Suzook. Allegedly.

2. Although I did read somewhere that KTM would have supported him for the MXDN but he opted out due to wanting a break after his first full 450 season. Allegedly.

3. He wants to get ready for Monster cup on the Suzuki which conflicts with the burnout/rest theory. Allegedly.

4, Make up you own. Laughing

I think between working on some immigration issues, and coming up to the end of his KTM deal, he's out for this year.

It sucks to have a 450 National Champ out of the MXdN; know he's got a lot going on (as mentioned above), but...you'd think Germany would have liked to have a #1 rider out there for them.

Regardless of the reasons in my opinion its a good move for KR

he gets a well earned rest as champ and has time to concentrate on riding the new bike and settle into the new team ready for MEC.

....and the Dunge keeps plugging away. Wonder if Ryan will skip monster cup and Red Bull straight rhythm what with him getting married and such. I'd bet he does.

Hello.

Main reason is the immigration issue. It is related to his green card, leaving the US to this point of time would create a problem.
Additional of that, in case of racing the MXDN he would have keep focused his training until end of September, short after this date he had to start tests with his new team. Therefore a very short the relaxation time is remaining.
But however, without the immigration issue he would have raced for Germany.

That never stopped Wilson from riding for whatever country suited him at the moment.

This will make 3 out of the last 4 years the AMA National 450 Champion won't race at the Des Nations. Sad deal. I respect the GP guys because they're there no matter what. However, it does suck that the guys racing in the US have to wait a whole month before racing again. That is a big disadvantage in my opinion. Plus it shortens the off season even more. I'd rather the AMA change the schedule to where there's a month break between SX and MX, and then giving a two week break before the Des Nations.

What he said! No speculation needed.

Sucks big time for Team Germany!
