If you were a team manager, would you hire a 1 top 3, race winner, consistent podium guy?, banking on 1 rider, or would you hire 2 solid 5-10 place guys and , thinking 1 rider team or rolling the dice him being at each race, but could win it. or be happy 2 riders 5-10 each week.

Fast as lightning. 2 years as a pro, didnt start one series because someone forgot to tell him that beef builds beef, and beef and egg yolks keeps you from ending up sick due to being iron deficient, and crashed out of another and completely missed a 3rd race series. Been a No show since. They sold the shit out of the hype to Payton though.
He's 18 probably going on 19 now and he's built like a 12 year old. IMO, he's too fragile. One good crash and he's broke off. Muscle is what keeps the body together when you take a hit.
All these kids have to do is eat and train, and eat, and eat. Lots of these guys look like anorexic bulimic teen girls, not young vibrant healthy young men.
Ask Peick or the other pros about when he weeded himself in Florida........
so to answer your question,i would go with 1 podium rider, and if he gets injured/cant race..hope that team has a backup test rider or fill in .
only way it makes sence to go the other option of 2 top5-10 riders, would be if 1 was a test rider and the other has potential to be a podium rider by series end.
