Packing though, will have to come later. Pretty good show today, but the track was too smooth, everyone was going the same speed, wasn't even a yo-yo affect. Like safe driving day, keep a bike length back for every 5 km/hr.
Anyway, always cool, and a beautiful day at the races is always fun. Didn't like paying $5 more ($30 total), the product isn't better. But I love MX so much I would drive down and give them the $ just to support the sport.
There were some two stroke KTM's there that made me absolutely drool.
Motoconcepts looked pretty professional (so do all the top teams), but kinda neat that their team colour is white.
Jeff Emig's neighbor looked good, he and Benoit never really came together, same speed set though I think. No. 27 in MX2 killed (Jesse Wentland) everyone. Even with MA winning twice, that was the most dominant race of the day. Austin P. must really be hurting, he didn't look ready at all.
Josh Hill, you can tell when he is walking in the pits he was hurt bad in the flip, but great to have him here. He was off the leaders a bit but beautiful to watch, dude has style. Jeff A. was a bit of a roadblock at times, he's gotta get going (hurt?). The gaps seemed definitive and very consistent, MA and CF, then JH and BK (love that guy what an attitude and charger), then Tyler and Chisholm and Maier, and then the rest.
Interesting how the Kawi's were the fire breathing dragons of destruction in the past, and they still sound as such, but it's all rider now IMO.
I thought Monster put on a much better show than Rockstar, maybe first year growing pains.
As for the riding, I made similar observations last week. I was pleased by the show, the Canadian Nats are doing pretty good these days.
A few edited pics I got!
And some un-edited ones

The track kits make a 450 pretty slow because of the drag and weight. The turbo supposedly puts them closer to 100 horsies so allow the riders to use 4-5 in the snow, instead of just the first 2 gears. It is pretty cool.
