Well their TV package is great for a little series. They have live coverage on NBC and Speed.
I do see it getting big, and traveling out of CA more. What happened to the series that used to run in the Mid-west?
The Baldwin's (CORR owners) have spent millions trying to grow the series, and have done a great job. Their TV package is awesome, but cost them alot of money. They also develped the Chula Vista track just for their series.
As far as money goes, I know that there is good purse money for the pro classes, and because of the TV package it has attracted some big sponsors. But its also a very expensive sport. All the top teams have at least 1 semi, and the budgets for the competitive truck teams are millions of dollars a year.
I think it has at least a few more years of good growth unless the economy gets any worse. Alot of the sponsors are tied to the aftermarket auto industry and that sector has taken a huge hit.
And if you haven't been to one of these races in person, I would suggest you check it out. As good as the TV coverage is, you really don't get a true feel for how fast those truck really are, plus there is just something about 20 trucks with 800hp screaming down the front straight right in front of you.

CORR races are a lot of fun (TTs sound like Fountains)
There definitely is not a lot of money, mainly a rich man's sport. It is possible to make it big time, but you definitely have to do some major ball handling on the way.
It does seem to be growing, tho. I do what I can to support the industry.
Check out Terribles place in Huntington Beach. These guys def know whats up.
