Ridden my 500 a million laps at that track, and I thought I'd seen it at it's worst, on race days. Then they started holding a National there, a few years back, and it was another kind of rough. Unlike anything I'd ever seen before, chop all the way around, and sitting down was impossible. Walked the track after the day was done, shaking my head, I wouldn't make one lap out there, without eating shit. A track like that makes you realize just how bad ass the top guys are, when they go ride 30 + 2 on it. I would think prior track knowledge would factor into suspension settings, and tomorrow, we'll see if Mike Alessi has what it takes to win there. Go Colt!

Wonder what happened with MA800...he had a +6 second lead on Colt 45 with 2 laps to go then dropped to 18th with a 7:48 lap timeHuh

Welcome to the Dunes Soggy, wet, fuel guzzling sand. Happened to Kyle Keast one year, they used a heat gun to expand his tank for the second moto, I think. Topped off with a little bit of fuel after the hot lap, as well.

How many rounds are left? This should put 800 down by 29 or 30 points - could be tough to get the championship.

Jeff will be racing Deschambault I think it's called. His scheduled return wasn't today... it's either next weekend or the next weekend after.

Apparently MA800 pulled a huge lead second moto, came in to get gas and still won the moto.
