Yup, that's me. I'm about 6'3" (6'9" with the afro) and I was a regular in the +30 class at Albany, Washougal, PIR, Mt View etc and would do the +25 class as a 2nd class at times.

I hit Hindsight a few times while you were running the place. Got an ambulance ride out of there once and that was the end of my hindsight entertainment.

Just want to start out by saying I won 3 national atv titles 2004,2005,2006; google DJ Spurling.. With that being said all you bike riders don't understand. Your up on this high horse that bike are better when in truth I practiced on a bike because it was easier on my body! Most quad guys can ride bikes good too! Maybe not the same level as a quad but close! Now put a bike guy on a quad and they could maybe run C class! The track was identical cause Chad actually rode at the bike national too!! But it's ok hide behind your blanket and be oblivious to what actually happened. Chad Wienen, Joel Hetrick, Josh Cramer, and many more are just as good if not better athletes then most pro bike racers!

If the quad guys are so good, why dont they just race MX and SX and make way more money?? That's like another dumb sports argument, "NFL football is a joke. Rugby is way harder and tougher."

^ Why compete in a sport no one cares about when its so much easier to just ride a bike instead and make alot more money. Just because you can pin it around all the flattened out turns and run a faster lap doesn't mean they are better athletes. Also how the hell are you going to say they are better athletes when they run 15min + 2, quit being delusional

Sorry to break your high horse but this year roczen ran a 2:02.848 compared to quad guy wienens 2:15.043....

SO continue talking about how much slower quads are now.

Two things...

1. You don't have to balance a Quad

2. Think about the contact patch area to the ground between 4 wide tires(two driving it forward) and two skinny tires.

There really is no comparison between the two, apples and oranges. Would I jump one of those 400 lb beasts? Hell no!, to me that's just asking to get pile driven into the ground. Every time and I mean EVERY TIME I've been to the track when there was quad dudes there ruining the track and causing major dust clouds, they would all end up breaking something before the end of the day, usual and A-arm or something and have to pack it up early.

I'll give ya'll one thing, you have to have some serious budget to be able to keep those things going, more than I have. Smile
