Decided to share this because I haven't seen this posted anywhere on here, though I didn't look very hard.

So obviously it's clear James took a pill of some sort on the starting gate, no way of knowing what it was. But after a quick google, it almost certainly wasn't Adderal. From what I read Adderal takes 30 mins. to 1 hour to kick in. That's not to say james didn't take Adderal earlier, but whatever he took on the line at MEC probably wasn't Adderal. So what was it?

Do some of you seriously think he would take something either banned or illegal right in front of everyone? With cameras rolling, knowing it would be on video forever? Obviously no one could tell what it was from the video but he sure doesn't seem worried about any one seeing him taking it which would lead to questions if he was doing something wrong. If he was worried he would know that a vid of him taking something on the line would just add fuel to the fire. This is casual and not worried about a thing, not hiding anything. If it was anything suspicious he could have easily taken it while in his semi or anywhere, off camera.

I mean, c'mon.

That's what's odd to me, he obviously wasn't trying to hide it whatever it was, but that still doesn't explain it. What could he possibly have wanted to take minutes before a 10 lap sprint?

If he's trying to abuse adderal for a performance edge he would take it 45 minutes before the gate dropped in the rig.........

Half-life is 10 hours, no need to take that drug on the gate in plain site.......... 10 hours from the time he popped on the gate, half the of the med would still be in his system.........

this is stupid I dont even know why i'm responding to this madness.

We’re talking about the same guy who was gotcha’d on the podium a few years ago right after winning the Phoenix main, after a "traction control device" was spotted on his swing arm. They had a cameraman standing on his back fender (w/ lighting rig) and ZOOMING IN on the thing while James was goggling up for his heat race.
