thank you.
If it is for using serious stuff I hope people will realize that they are simply the one who got caught and not some sort of cheating villain. The silencing of the discussion only makes it seem much worse like there is a lot more to hide.

I saw the post, he didn't even say anything incriminating, only alluded to a certain part of the country.
Disappearing posts only raise further suspicion...
what gives?
Well, I could say that I heard oldAFI had tested positive, and that would be equally wrong.

There are lots of fans licking their chops here that a certain guy or another will be the one that gets tagged. That's just wrong.

What's weird here is that this is a Supercross issue (testing happened late in the season) that has now become an MX issue. I think that's an unintended consequence of testing.

On one side you've got the FIM and WADA. On the other, it's the AMA and USADA. As far as I know, there's no agreement that penalties from one series carry over to the other. But it'll certainly make for a lot of confusion, chaos with fans and sponsors, and damage to a rider's reputation.

I think things are about to get really confusing.

What I will realise is that someone broke the rules and got caught, nothing more, nothing else. Whether no-one else was using banned substances, or it's the whole rest of the field, is irrelevant.

Nope. There's a whole array of banned substances. I'm not sure of the exact drug, so I'll wait until there's better info.

The only thing I've deleted are some of the really dumb posts that have added nothing to the conversation (like Lenny's, "Can I speculate?") and ones where people are falsely and accusing riders, by throwing stuff against the wall, just to see if it'll stick.

The AMA hasn't had anything to do with outdoor motocross since what, 2008? FTE will confirm as he does every time I make a snide remark about those douchebags. Smile

Adderall is the rumor...and it is a heavy hitter. This is the same drug that AJ Allmendinger got "dinged" for.

Indeed. Motocross is not a spot where it would be beneficial. It would reduce the person's cardiac output and kill their overall performance.

But Joe, I heard Weege and Grant say just last Saturday that the outdoor series was sanctioned by the AMA. Surely the announcers can't be wrong too.Silly

What we need is someone to sanction the AMA.Angry I'm dying waiting to see how they try to skirt the rules this time if this affects a star.Evil

Well, it is the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing.

If it is Adderall, which wouldnt surprise me, its easy to have a script for. It wouldnt surprise me because its prescribed so much these days, you could have a 22yr old thats been on it for 8-10 yrs. This was a big topic thats come up after the Baja 500 and how it would benefit a driver focus over long distances or driving 20 hrs straight, but there is no testing and its NOT illegal. Not the case in SX where your heart rate is already through the roof, I know I wouldnt want to use it in SX or MX.

Do they disclose what the substance/failed test is? In the NFL they don't disclose what caused them to fail and then the players agent says it was Adderall and they take it for ADHD.
