How many of you lie in bed and tried to watch an MX/SX race only to be asleep by the time the first moto/heat are over?..Sometimes when I can't sleep I'll watch a race.....

NOTHING pisses me off more than being woken up by a txt or phone call whilst deep into a rad dream if ripping on my dirtbike.

Very often i throw a race on before hitting the pillow in hopes of such dreams. Its all i got bro!

If you're watching MX/SX while in bed, you're doing it wrong.

We are here at the track ready to crash and it's gonna be hard to sleep tonight and I'm just watching tomorrow. When I'm racing the next day I don't sleep much if at all.

When MC was king it could get a bit boring. He would ride super fast for a couple of laps and then manage the gap. RC on the other hand (especially outdoors) would keep it on the edge and it made it hard to relax. There is just no pleasing some people.

Speaking of motocross dreams; how many of you guys shake yourselves out of a deep sleep crashing in your dreams?

It seems like once a week I am high-siding my body into the ground and I wake up right before I hit.

HA! My brother says it's the spirit trying to "astral travel" and being forced back by dark entities... He was into Robert Monroe.Unsure Scott Baio gave him pink eye.

Yea. Except I get 50ft of air off a 6ft face and 20ft past the downside. Sometimes I bail, sometimes I stay on, but I always wake up pre-auger.

This past night I dreamed my brother and I were riding on our backyard track and the dirt was perfectly tacky.

In reality, we haven't had good rain in over a week.

I always have the dream where I've over jumped big time, like off the side of a cliff, and am just falling through the air forever it seems. But yup, always wake up before I hit the ground. I wonder of that's what it was like for Doug Henry at budd's creek? Minus the whole waking-up-before-you-land thing

I have been watching MX in bed for years. I barely make it through a lap.

I tell my wife it puts me in my happy place.

When ever I dream about riding moto I never actually ride!

Always one of those frustrating dreams where ill be about to go riding and something will happen and ill have to fix the bike or ill be missing a piece of gear and be off looking for it while the race starts and not actually dream about riding.

In fact I don't think I have ever had a dream where I have actually ridden a dirt bike, only dreams where I am about to and something stops me!

do any of you have the reacurring dream that your at the race bot cant for the life of you find goggles or boots or pants. the race is about to start (this has actually been a reality with me too).

how about the dreams where no matter how hard you try, you CANNOT punch when fighting. or the other dream where you cannot run!! i've even tried running backwards lol

and last but not least, the dream where your about to get balls deep with the most beautiful girl in the world. and you wake up for some odd reason!!

with the dog licking your nutsack

thats the worst

For me it's podcasts. I'll throw on dan patrick and it'll knock me out like a benedryl.

If I wake up in the middle of the night, I'll trace my local track in my head, and it'll put me back to sleep.

I have this exact same thing every time I have a moto dream. I never make it to the line.

Ive stayed up to 3am working on my bike for open practice the next day. Get up at 6am load up and drive out to the track. Did two mottos and took a nap in my truck. When I woke up most everyone was gone and practice was over. This was reality and not a dream. I was surprised I fell sleep for so long at a MX track.

Scottie you should explore/learn that whole lucid dreaming thing! They say with a little patience and some pratice everyone can do it. And when you master it, it's like you control what happens in that "second world" of your own...

About once or twice a year I have a dream that I'm clearing a big double with lots of hang time and my front wheel falls off in mid flight. I always wake up right before impact.

I can get on the La-z-boy sofa and turn the tv on to a golf game and get the best nap. When I watch MX , moto gp or the last 50 laps of a indy car race at say Texas I am on the edge of my chair

Ive had countless dreams where I hit a mega jump and just float until I wake up. I also have a recuring dream where I can levitate and then stick my arms out like a plane and can fly around for minutes at a time

Sorry to get off topic, but the flying dream... I'm always doing breast-stroke, WTF? HA! breast-stroke.
