Another terrible rampage incident. Fortunately in this case one of the students took the necessary action to limit the amount killed and injured. This one hits close to home as it is my wife's alma mater. Very proud of the students' reactions in such a scary situation.

A Seattle Pacific University (SPU) student tackled a gunman who was reloading his shotgun after killing one student and wounding two others inside a campus hall Thursday afternoon.
The shooting unleashed a wave of terror across the school as it went into lockdown and students scrambled for cover.

SPU is a tiny school. There are only about 3000 or so undergrads or so, about 1000 more students than my kids' high school. From my daughter's experience, it's a pretty close knit campus so a huge percentage of the students are going to be acquainted with the victims of this senseless act.

Basically, if you loose your gut and learn a little jiu jitsu you'll feel just as safe as having your gun.

I don't represent the millions of left wingers, nor fit your sense of how I perceive evil.
We're talking about guns, but you keep bringing in politics, voting, and now a makeshift definition of evil.
I'd suggest you stick to one topic, and keep an open mind
Murder murder murder, kill kill kill.

All of these school shootings freak me out a bit because you really are a sitting duck inside a college campus. Think about it, if you had a gun and wanted to go to a place where nobody could defend themselves, where would you go? That's right, a school where nobody is carrying any form of protection. You gun control clowns want to know what the real problem is, THE PEOPLE! Guns don't shoot themselves, it takes an insane moron to make this type of stuff happen. I'm worried that the more we hear about this stuff, the more it will happen, since every nut job in the country will now want to "go out with a bang". Why do we have to start this same stupid debate every time something like this happens? Maybe we should wait a bit and feel for the people who had to live through this, rather than spew the same useless crap over and over again.
