Anyone know of any brands coming out with anything this year or next? Cool

Last I heard JT was done doing retro lines, the new owners don't think there is a market for it. Angry

I ordered a set of the O'Neal retro gear that Brayton wore at A3, but the skull on the jersey kills me. Angry

Why can't one of these brands put out a simple retro line that they always offer and just swap the color ways ever year or so? Whistling

I have the CLASSICK gear from JT. I love it, I also have a set of the Daytona FOX gear. I am not a big fan of the skulls on the gear either. I'd like to see the RJ FOX gear from '86 as a retro kit as well as some AXO retro gear. I say some of the JT stuff on EBAY still, I want to say it was around $100 for pants and a jersey.

I bought a set of the JT gear and it just fit weird. Low hung pants, short crotch, and definitely needed to buy a size up in the pants. The jersey seemed to be normal sizing fit. Sold the stuff after trying it on. Troy Lee makes solid gear but I would not call it throwback looking.

Why can't Fox just re-pop their old gear? That's the coolest of all time and it doesn't look that dated IMO.

I use the new JT gear combined with a retro JT jersey and I think it looks pretty nice. The best part is that you can get JT cheap on e-bay right now, you just need to locate a retro jersey to make it all work.

ReignMX makes a nice shirt! I'm running the JT helmet too. Found it for about 1/2 price on ebay. It's the most comfortable helmet I've owned in many years! I got the JT chest protector from a friend on Marks MX site. Answer boots and THOR pants that I won for $5 on ebay.

I have the Reign jersey too. Kinda hot here in south Texas, but it is the price you pay to look pretty! lol

I switched from the REIGNMX shirt to the Oneal one for the second moto. The one with the skull on it. It breathes very nicely! And I don't mind the skull at all.

Thanks guys, when I ride my 74 Yam's I have all original 70's gear that I race in, so that's not the problem. When I ride / race my '12 KX450, I have '89 KX style graphics on it and I'm looking for some late 80's / early 90's style gear. I guess I should have been a little more specific, but thanks again for the input.

Zeke27G, I guess you did not like my Honda set, so how is this for 80's KX gear? You should be able to still get this stuff but not for very much longer.

Vet323, no they have not made them since the 1980's. I had a dozen made up in Europe a couple years ago, I even have a "des nations" one to. I was thinking of selling a few but I have a hard time letting go since I can't replace them.

Thanks vet323, you are very kind. What can I say, I just loved the 80's MX scene and never settle for anything that's just ok, I want it perfect ( maybe my biggest flaw).

Diggin' that set up, I think there was a guy on eBay in Europe somewhere selling jerseys like that, but he wants an arm and a leg for them. Might just have to bite the bullet and pick one up. Thanks for posting!! Cool
