Remember, J-Laws "contribution" was mandatory, in the form of a fine.

He had no choice in the matter.

That said, maybe a PayPal account can be set up for the Asterisk rig? I'd be up to contribute to it.

Sorry I do have a life away from the interwebs.

The rumor I heard on Thursday last week was that Asterix is going to start getting charged a fee to park their semi at each round by the organizing body.

He's an "Easy-Button" response for you...

After spending money on individual racers, I'm thinking this is a way to spend money in such a way that a resource that Every Privateer needs is always there.

Of course, but the $64,000 question is...which "crowd"?

Hangtown has professional medical personnel crawling all over the track. Don't get the impression that Doc Bodnar and crew are the only ones out there and that the promoters don't have their own professional medical people out there.

But there should be a way to fund these guys of course.

It's retry well known that he has made other contributions besides his fine. He has also helped out a few privateers in the form of bikes and money.

If that's true, then the lynch mob has the address of Feld and MXSports....charging AMMC to park and provide the riders this free service????? Gather the pitchforks.......again, IF that is true....

Thanks for the really odd profile comment. I'm not sure how to feel about it.

I would recommend a therapist...

Not a big deal, since he gets free bikes anyway.

Those were some odd comments. He'll probably deny them and say someone got on his computer. I'm think the uphill gardener thought they were private comments.

Where are all you commies coming from?? This ain't Obamacare and nobody should get free medicare. Any fair-minded capitalist can see that the riders should pay their own damn bills. Yes it's a hazardous job, but the invisible hand has spoken! Jebb Bush for president!!

No, banned for trolling, crap quality of posts, and having a second account.

The email address that people sign up with says a lot about their intentions here. Is it a real email? Or a "disposable" one that they set up specifically for signing up on here?

I called him out for casting judgement on J-Law and he must've snitched to a mod or something. I didn't write the first post.

Trolling? Crap quality of post? 2nd account because I lost the sign up info on the first but my 2 email address are the same, work and personal. Sounds to me like some of the opinions people have about how mx sports operates seems to have hit a nerve, may be take off the blinders and actually report on what is going on and that will help the sport better improve things than buried heads and company lines being towed

Not sure if you took it that way, but I wasn't talking about you.

Think about it for a second. If I was trying to "tow" anyone's company line, I wouldn't have posted up on the topic in the first place.

getting off the topic which is, raising money for Asterisk. As a rider who has needed these services (mx & baja) and working with another ex rider promoting a new product (dont' want to mention it at this point)..he looked at me when we heard Bodnars plea and stepped up and donated $500 that morning. we both know how important these services are and what next...paypal account. think thats a great idea!!

Here is my solution. Add $1 to ticket prices and that $1 goes towards keeping the rig at every round. 40,000 people at every round will generate lots of money. That's just my $.02. I would have no problem forking over another dollar knowing it went to something like this.
