I've been watching practice, pre-show & BOTH motos live on the NBC sports app on my iPad, basically HD quality. For the 2nd moto all I had to do was confirm my email & password for my xfinity account, which I had handy since I've known I'll need it for this since last season. Good day or racing & no headaches. For those of you that don't have cable, wtf do you expect?! Pay for cable & you can watch shows, don't pay for it, well you get what you pay for ya cheap asses Laughing Laughing Laughing

If this sport did its job it would be on TV for all.

Superbowl, Indy 500 a dead sport BTW, and others. Spelling Bees, Croquet games, basket weaving comps, etc.

I can watch some ghetto ass UFC or MMA bullshit on my regular channels and not have to switch channels halfway either, and the funny thing is, I wish theyd take that shit off my channels because its on all the fuckin time.

Really? OK. Well, you could say on a basic cable package.

Or being NBC, how about OTA? I bet I can watch the Indy 500 tomorrow with a set of rabbit ears.

And that sport is all but on life support. Its far too rich for America,(Hence hardly anyAmericans anymore) and the Neckcar crowd still loves steering wheels from short busses and ghetto black steel wheels.

Really you're gonna compare one of the biggest motor races in the world to mx? Never mind that mx is on the same channel that Indycar is on the rest of the season! Maybe you should expect not to be a cheapskate if an obscure sport like MX is your favorite.

It is Memorial Day weekend.

I figure I'm alive, just watched 1st motos a little blurry, took a nice nap on my comfy couch, gonna go for a ride down the coast on the Triumph this evening, have a great dinner afterward, maybe another nap, then watch 2nd motos in HD to finish out the day.

Meanwhile my nephew is in some Afghan shithole trying to not get shot by the ragheads he is training. People need to not worry about the small stuff and they will enjoy life a little more
This guy knows whats up

I haven't watched MavTV in almost a year. Go there today and POOF, it's gone. Now it's a premium HD channel that I have to pay extra for. No idea when this happened. But there was a damn Euro MXGP marathon going on on the other channel. Funny shit, can't get our nats on air but the Euros can. Worst part of it was having to call Time Warner multiple times to get connected. Those fuggers are clueless. Tried earlier this year to get direct TV in the house and garage but was going to require two systems and they were clueless too. Not only that but Mav wasn't showing up here on Direct. Was great to see the Glen on the tele though, maybe things really are looking up....
Same thing on my end newmann.... I paid for the upgrade for the Nationals and was then treated to a bunch of GP racing! I was actually surprised and really liked the chance to watch Herlings and AC222... I will keep a look out for mre GPs... I have a funny feeling I'll be watching more Euro Racing than AMA this season!!!! Wink

So the mxgp package is great because you can only watch one of the motos tape delayed on a premium sports network yet the nationals package is crap because you can watch all but one moto all year live if you have internet and an even less premium sports network?

this is what I love about people...oh wait, no it isn't...it's what i can't fucking stand.

If you got to watch MX today, then everything is hunky-dory. I guarantee everyone one of you in this thread calling the other guys whiners and babies, that if YOU didn't get to watch MX today, you be bitching too.

is it a fuckin crime to take your favorite sport for granted? or is motocross on a tv a fucking blessing from god? no...it isn't.

fuckin self-centered assholes.

I have an idea. Stop bitching and go do something about it. Sounds to me like you love to complain about how poor the TV package is but you offer zero help with "fixing" it up to your standards.

Put up or shut up.

I think it's just having realistic expectations. MX is not a relatively popular sport and it requires 4 hours of coverage to show an event. TV is a business and showing an event on live tv is not cheap. Mix together the facts and it's impressive that those who are willing to pay for more than basic cable and internet have access to it live IMO.

Actually for the UFC it goes something like this. Early prelims FS2/ Prelims FS1/ Main card fox. 3 different channels.

The assholes complaining about the people complaining. Same shit every year, they are to fucking dumb to understand that in some areas its just not possible to watch the nationals, then people have to resort to all this half assed shit to try and watch. Then when thats doesn't work out i would be pissed to. It is what it is.
I'm just glad i get to watch but most times i'm to busy on Sat afternoons so i just catch them a few days later.

Really my apologies. I'm the dumbass that started this thread. It's really not worth it. All I did was attract other dumbasses. Apologies to the handful of smart folks that had to read this drivel, and tried to respond with diplomacy.

Pay for cable & you can watch shows, don't pay for it, well you get what you pay for ya cheap asses Laughing Laughing Laughing

i will admit, i was very fucking annoyed on Saturday morning when i searched for the race and found the second moto on at 11:00 that night. then i was fucking annoyed when i watched the first moto and it was in SD. SD looks like an old nintendo game on my big tv...

but then i remembered that it could be worse and watched both races with the same excitement as i always have.

glad the nationals are back, even with the gay SD broadcast
