There is way too much focus on what happens in pro racing. I get it, we are all fans.

Pro racing is what it is, driven by its stakeholders and controlled by the OEMs that make it possible. It will only ever be what they want. We will all still watch regardless because we love to watch fast guys on bikes.

I would like to see people lend as much attention and energy to their local scene. Build a track, help out at one, volunteer for your local race org. Race yourself. Teach a friend to ride. Write an article for your paper about the local races.

You can find a lot more satisfaction in the sport when you focus on what you can change.

That's actually a very valid point. I like that idea.

Someone said Monster Girls wear shorts - wrong - should be bikinis. They also need to let riders go pro @ age 14 like the Euros do, at least in the 250 class.

I like that idea too. Imagine if we could get one......just one person back riding who is on the couch or introduce someone to riding for the first time.

If I had one wish, it would be for medical technology so advanced bones and reconstructive surgeries to be fully healed within 24-hours.
This! Bone breaks seem to be the basest problem with this sport. They need to go!

Also: Everyone on a different bike. Call me a socialist, but each rider on the same bike would make for a neat game.

Also: Points spread. Somehow keeping the points closer between the top 10 (right now there's a 130 point spread between RV and Short in 6th, who's gotten top 10 every round except one 11th) while also rewarding better for wins. Don't ask me how.

Also: I too would be ok with 12 sx rounds. Fill the month gap between sx and mx w/ Straight Rhythm. And everyone would attend because they wouldn't worry about breaking bones before mx!

Also: Literally quadruple the amount of dirt from a typical sx race, give Pastrana a pencil and paper (12 pieces, one for each round) and let him go nuts.

That's all for now.

I completely disagree with you about giving Pastrana a pencil. I think you should give him a pen so he can't go back and change what initially pops into his crazy-ass head!

1. Vital keyboard bullies

2. Cost of bikes and equipment

3. Lack of racing and riding areas

4. Noise

Suggestion

2 Stroke round for the lites class (250 2 strokes) one round per coast .... like A2 & Daytona
People would come out the wood work to witness that!

Leave the "premier" 450 class out of the 2 stroke conversation.

I don't get to go to as many SX races as I used to since I moved but watching a race on TV recently and hearing Lurch's idiotic screaming in the background reminded me that there are advantages to only watching a race on TV.

When he isn't screaming I like Lurch but that screaming really demeans the sport IMO.

Too much SX, not enough MX.

Ad breaks in the middle of motos.

No free beer.
