So are we not allowed to bring up hypotheticals here?

I would think Yosh/Suzuki would want someone there IF James were out for the whole nationals being that they are the factory team. IF he were only to be out a few rounds I wouldn't be surprised if they just waited until he was healthy.

I'm not going to jump to conclusion until an official press release is out towards James' knee, but if I had to place any sort of bet down on who would get the fill-in spot I'd go with Hill based on his contract with Suzuki from Supercross, but Vince Freise would be a good fill in rider. He has top 10 speed outdoors and has been super consistent. I don't think Blake Wharton has a ride for outdoors (Geico was a fill-in for Bogle ironically), and it could be a cool opportunity to get on a 450 since he's going to be bumped up sooner or later. Either way lets hope James is back for Glen Helen (and Vegas) because he's been riding great lately and much needed for the nationals.
