I'm telling ya, if I was a team manager, I'd eliminate the practice track as much as I could possibly get away with. Especially pre-season. There's just too great of a risk. It's derailed the hopes of way too many contenders.
So how does that work for Blake testing at GH?

Just what I said. I really would eliminate all testing that did not involve specific bike tuning objectives. No riding at all outside of event-related practices or seeking a specific set of tuning goals. I know it would be unpopular and there's a competitive trade-off. But attrition has absolutely killed both series the last few years, especially the pre-season. To win, you first have to finish. To finish, you first have to start.

To start, you have to come prepared...unless you're just participating. Wink

Why ? Maybe they can also put part of a number 1 plate on the Pro Circuit door.

He has deprived himself of 26 points so far this season due to a)being Davalos and crashing, or b)being outraced. He's 8 up on Bogle now. He should have not been so Davalos-esque in his riding this season and hoped that Bogle blew it these last two rounds for him. A portion of a bonus for a championship not won because he crashed out due to mechanical when he had many opportunities before this to get shit done? You've lost it.

That sucks! He really deserved it. Wouldn't be awesome if he still won!

This east coast championship brought to you by George RR Martin.

It's a brutal sport. We're constantly reminded of that.

Get well soon.

The navicular in the foot is commonly interchanged with being called a scaphoid. Being that he is holding his weight on to the walker in the photo..I think he is meaning the tarsal navicular.
Correct. I too, noticed his weight bearing and lack of cast's on either wrist, therefore, it is his scaphoid(navicular) of the foot (both with notoriously low blood flow, thus poor healing issues).

How does your master link break on a warm up lap? The only time I've heard of that happening was when the clip was put on backwards.

I agree with you to a point Whip, with a tight championship on the line in SX which has such huge payouts, if the riders are contenders keep them off the outdoor practice track until it it decided. Baggett was a long shot, but they knew Davalos was out, so you make sure Baggett stays in it.

However if your rider is out of the hunt, then might as well get ready for the outdoors.

a clip can come off rolling the bike backwards with a brand new chain and block....
