The air was thick this day, my friends - and the racing action the ABSOLUTE best I've ever seen. KDUB and RC at it with the 450/250 Honda brouhaha, whilst Brown and Hughes were locked in a 125 donnybrook of their own doing...

That was the first National I attended. Don't remember a thing, lol.

Edit: '02 was my first year there...When the riot police showed up and some vehicles got burnt. Good times.

I wish they still had the wall at High Point. There were some great take-outs there. Whatever happened to Richie Owens? He had some good results on WBR Suzuki, then just disappeared.
