Now really think about that metcalfe is no slouch, but i personally don't think he is as fast as alessi outside.

in 2012- alessi finished 2nd to dungey and straight up beat him at a couple of rounds.

in 2012- metcalfe finished a whopping 13th...then went to canada the following year and won a title.

so for somebody to say the talent in canada is on par with the usa is a joke...

I remember watching jsr (jean-sebastian-roy),( not giguere...lmao i was thinking hockey)on blackfoot honda win the title...At that point way back when i came to the realization its definitely a good series but it does not compare to whats down here.

I agree, the Canadian pros arent up to par with the American pros. But with that being said, I do believe Alessi wont win the title. I believe the top 5 will be as follows 1)Kiniry 2) Metty 3) T. Dags 4) Alessi 5) Faciotti

Alessi is good, but not that good. Don't think because he pulls holeshots he will win. More to a race than the first corner.

I love it!.....most everyone has forgotten about Colton Facciotti. At round 1 last year he smoked everyone including Metty. He was passing Metty at Round 2 when he went down and was done for the year in a freak accident. CF has world class speed, and should not be underestimated.

kinda off subject and not that this means anything but Ryan Surratt was running the same lap times as Metty yesterday for half of both the first and second motos at REM in 250 intermediate.

alessi i think will take it if hes healthy and doesnt have his dad breathing down his neck telling him what to do every second. I like the alessi's jeff just always rebelled cause his dad to me is such a dick. Mike was impressive this year for supercross he got way better in the whoops.

So lets say Alessi gets on the box at GH - do they really go?
When he gets to Canada - and lets just say smokes them and goes 1-1 at first event with ease, does he stay?

Not saying Metty and CF and the rest of the riders wont give him some comp but just asking for fun.

And will any of the Canadian nats be on TV or streaming?

I think alessi has the best shot at winning it. It wont be a walk in the park or a 20-0 season by any means but he seems to have really picked it up in sx and is riding well. if he keeps that up and can translate it to outdoors i think our guys will be in tough. I'd love to see faciotti win it, he was riding well last year and has had shit luck lately. either way if mike does decide to race the series its a world class talent that we all get to watch and we should be glad hes here racing.
