And look at you, closing fast.

There's a difference between speaking (and trying to straighten people out), and spewing.

From the monkey's perspective, the one on the left is not listening

Weimer is sadly a product of the lites supercross class being split into coasts , does nothing but create twice as many "champs" and possible up and comers ,

That proves that monkeys lack perspective.

I am sure Jake will be just fine. I watched Jake grow up and Ill tell you guys that he has been places that none of us will go and if he walked away from the sport today he can be proud of what he has accomplished. Most MX/SX racers would kill to make the night show or the gate at a national. He has WON them. He has won a SX Championship. He has ridden for a full factory team. He makes a living riding dirt bikes............he's OK.
I think this guy knows whats hes talking about.....

I would be the one in the center because I can only see my point of view.Wink

But now the weather is nice so I have been going outside and doing things so my Vital time is way down Cool

From this monkey's perspective, you need to learn your right from left. Wink

Weimer just went through a bad relationship with a girl sometime at the beginning of his 450 ride, and he was injured roughly the same time. It will take a little time to get both issues resolved IMO. He's just gone through some rather tough trials. He may not recover as quick as some of the front runners but he will bounce back.

Who takes Weimer's spot though? Is it going to be Bagget? Is that a done deal?
If not, who else is a realistic candidate? Weimer may not have been able to set the world on fire in recent years but I don't necessarily think there is a long line of candidates who are a whole lot better, who are available, and who fit that team dynamic. Bagget is the only one that comes to mind but I'm not sure he's moving up yet.

I'll probably remember a bunch of names as soon as I click SUBMIT but F it, I'm going to run this post anyway....

EDIT: I'm working with the assumption that Deano goes to KTM or 22MS.

Bad relationships with girls make you ride faster not slower, its just the way it is.

Its fucking spring time bro. Go ride your bike. Its only 4 moths into 2014 and you want the answers about 2015 contacts.

New rules! no silly season chat until Dec 29th Of 2014. Muah... KISS!

Hey my brother lives and works in Driggs. He is the pharmacist at corner drug. Awesome place during the summer with the MTB riding and tons of trail raiding. Always fun to go visit that mountain town and escape the heat of Twin Falls.

no silly season talk until Dec 29th 2014? Like a week before A1? I'm sure there's gonna be a lot of talk before then. How about, let's wait until halfway through outdoors that way we can see how guys are gonna do there instead of SX only.

I agree with the other guys that said Jake will be just fine. Sure he's not RV or JS, but he is still a 250 sx champ and has ridden pro for the past however many years. I would have loved to have done the things Jake has done. I bet he winds up at BTO or something like that. He's not an elite guy, but he can still ride and will continue to make a career out of dirt biking. As for the guy who said Jake makes more than Bowers, how do you know that? It seems like Bowers makes pretty good money, or else he'd be racing SX.

Really? Yeah, Dean is the top of the list. I'd take Seely, Anderson, Millsaps, Brayton, and Peick. Honestly, if I were Kawasaki, I'd even gamble on Hill, Metty, Mookie, maybe even Davalos if he ends up winning the championship and pointing out.

Nothing against Weimer: he seems like a great dude and he goes fast but things just haven't clicked for many years. I think a change of scenery will be good for him too.

Assuming those guys are all up, and looking for new contracts, my personal unsubstantiated moto-laymen, vitard opinion is:
* Seely hasn't really shown much outdoors,
* Anderson gets to defend his title (oops, hope I didn't just jinx him),
* Milsaps - Which season will he miss next year.....SX or Outdoors? No disrespect, Milsaps is a cool dude but he's been injured a lot lately. And I'm not talking about little fractures and sprains. I feel terrible for Davi but his injuries do tend to keep him off the bike for long stretches of time. I wish it wasn't so.
* Brayton has started a life in NC so I would assume he'd prefer to stay with JGR if at all possible,
* Hill - super cool kid but what has he shown as of late?
* Metty - how sharp are his 450 SX skills? When's the last time he raced a 450SX and how well did he do?
* Mookie....so you want Stewart's brother to be teammates with Stewarts arch-rival??? And you think Kawi will go for this. And you think RV2 will go for this. Uhhh....Mookie is not going to Kawi.
* Peick......well.....you might have a point there :-)

This is just speculation on my part. Benchracing if you will. I agree that a change of scenery might be good for Jake but only if it's a lateral move (good equipment, professional team). I hope it works out that way.

Didn't Metty win Southwick on a 450?
I do believe he did. And I think it was the yr before he would have won another but ran out of gas halfway into the last lap.

If Jason Anderson wins the west title he is out of the 250 class. This is his fourth year in 250's. Regardless of total advancement points if a rider has 3 years in the class and wins the title he is on to 450's. The rule that let a rider defend the title was taken out of the rulebook a couple of years ago. Broc Tickle was the first guy caught off guard by it when he won the title and PC had to give him the 450 ride because he still had another year left on his contract but could no longer ride 250SX.

Thanks for educating me.

Hey man, I have been into your shop a couple times, nice little set-up... My dad lives at the top of Fox Creek, so I will drop by next time I am in town and say hello.
