Quick question... I had to install a new throttle cable and I'm needing to know when you run the cable from the top down by the frame do you go on te left or right side of the bolt holding the front number plate on, thanks!!

Alright thanks and another question when the end goes into the carb is the top 2 screws the only 2 screws you have to remove and if so are they hard to get out bc there right and If I continue to try to loosen it I'm goin to end up stripping it, thanks

yamaha has a great manual.not being smart.they really do. loosen carb to tilt it get to the screws easier? take gas tank off? replace phillip screws with different head bolt? good luck.braaap.

Yeah those two screws can be a pain. I have a 13 and have had to use needle nose vice grips to remove them. Do not over tighten and do not lok-tite them. Order some new ones to have on hand. How did you trash out your throttle cable?

Yes, those are the only two screws on the carb side.

My wife surprised me with some new graphics for my bday, which I love, but during the process of her taking it to my parents to have my dad help put them on she pinched the throttle cable when strapping it down

I bought a tiny ratchet screw driver at Marshall's that works great for those little screws.
This one is expensive. I don't remember paying this much. But it works great!
